Hitbox, the Twitch Replacement for Those Who Hate Lag

As the streaming service built by gamers, for gamers, Hitbox.TV is one of the newest streaming platforms online, but their focus on quality and mobile integration sets them apart as possibly the best platform on offer. (PC)

Finally a good alternative to Twitch

There is SO MUCH LESS ARCHIVING! It's pretty great.

Finally a streaming service looking out for handheld and mobile users as well as MORE BANDWIDTH and ease of use. just the other day I was detailing how Twitch was going down hill and the Gaming Gods have already provided a couple of GREAT alternatives.

Hitbox? why not Hitstation! lol just kidding.

Ok.....I am really liking this streaming service. It feels really good and I like the only 5-7 second delay opposed to the sometimes minute plus I get on twitch.

I'm loving it so far as well. With Google buying out Twitch who knows where thats going to go, tho i imagine it'll ask you to sign into your google+ account so you can comment in stream chat among other things

That google+ account thing is bound to happen at some point. I also fear that they might implement the same system they did with youtube where someone can claim your whole revenue just because you don't own the rights to a game or to the music you're playing back.

This was already catastrophic on youtube. It would totally destroy twitch.

Sounds good, and the partnerships sound so much more fair than Twitch did. Right now it doesn't have many Stream and almost all of them are foreign but I keep an eye on it. The Twitch buyout might as well be the nail in the coffin but Twitch has been going downhill for years now.

I hope my favorite streamer eventually switches.

Trying it out now, just watching though. Seems very like Twitch - a little bit buggy with navigation but a good alternative.

Gutted I sold my capture card, I thought the built in DVR on PS4 and Xbox One would be better than it is (ability to add overlays etc, like Xsplit) but it turned out its very basic so dont bother streaming anymore :(

Yeah, Hitbox is still in beta though. It's good for what it is.

Bad move on the capture card sale though. I've done streaming on my Xbox One and PS4 and while the quality is pretty good on both, you just can't get the features and personalization you can with Xsplit.
Meh, it's just a Twitch clone. It even as a similar layout. You don't beat Twitch by being just like them.
Clown_Syndr0me  +   370d ago
No, but when Google own Twitch and force Google+ on everyone a clone of the original Twitch will be just what were all after.

Move on to Hitbox everybody who's with me, after google acquisition of Twitch I'm moving as soon as I can.
