Digital Journal Review: 'The Last of Us: Remastered' is a classic polished for the PS4

It's always a challenge to improve an already perfect work of art but Naughty Dog would not settle for having The Last of Us be remembered as one of the best games of 2013. Like a perfectionist devoted to their work, Remastered is a polished improvement of a modern classic for the PlayStation 4.

The Last of Us was a classic while The Last of Us: Remastered is perfect for those missed out on the original in 2013. Also if your an Xbox gamer who converted to a PlayStation gamer I recommend adding this to your collection.

Agreed. Best game I've played since Red Dead Redemption.

Definitely which is why I'm getting it. This game will probably be one of the best games for consoles this year.

Those who missed out? It's for anyone even those who played it.

wanted to get this game so bad ... then i found out it was linear. Just like uncharted. At this stage of the game... after GTAV its very difficult to go from open world to linear pre-determined gameplay.

You must really like open world games... After GTA and watch dogs I'm sick of them to be honest!

Even though it's linear the gameplay, story and graphics are all good reasons to get this game. Plus the online pvp for replay ( To be honest I haven't tried). I too love open world games but TLOU is an experience and highly recomended.

Im the opposite, open world games suffer from lack of incentive to finish, at least with me. Gta 5 is the perfect example, the story was complete trash. I'll take linear games with great cutscenes between gameplay any day
