Call of Duty Advanced Warfare features three Collector’s Editions

"Activision announced the Collector’s Editions for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare today. Yes, there are more than one. As you can probably imagine, each version is more expensive than the last, but also comes with more bonus content. The cheapest of them goes by the name of Atlas Limited Edition and costs $80." (Call of Duty, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Collector's editions or money grabbing editions i wish they'd just stick to putting all their efforts into the main game it's been so long since you brought a game and got a game the industry has changed so much over the years and not for the better in my opinion there's so much crap that goes with being a gamer these days.

Activision are smart. They just know that people will continue to buy them no matter what.

And none worth paying extra for

What disturbs me about these "special editions" is that they include in-game weaponry and supplies! So, is it going to give the customers who pay extra an in-game advantage over those that don't? If so, I just went from being interested in this game to putting it on my "never buy" list!

DLC should NEVER EVER affect multiplayer gaming! If you want to put a skin on a weapon, fine. If you put a super powerful rifle (or exo-suit) in, that gives competitive advantage to those spending more, you just BROKE your game!

What are the advantages you speak of?

The weapons they are including with the special editions. If those guns give you a competitive advantage in-game, it breaks the game. If you can only compete with those who bought the "special edition" by buying DLC, it ruins the experience...and flat out BREAKS multiplayer. You shouldn't HAVE to buy ANY DLC (other than optional map packs) to enjoy multiplayer gaming!

I see, I must of read your post wrong. I was under the impression you were saying it was a certainty not a hypothetical. I agree if the weapons or suit are the best in the mp then it shouldn't be purchased. I do like extras n mp that show you supported the game from day one.

Most DLC guns end up being shit so I'm not worried about that...I'm sure exo is just a skin nothing else
