... but I'm just a lot less excited about LBP3, than I was about LBP and LBP2.

Probably because I just didn't enjoy the SP-story as much in LBP2, plus I feel the floaty controls should have been fixed by now. Also, with the first game, I enjoyed 'playing' with the editor, but I just couldn't really bothered to first unlock everything again by having to play the campaign, in order to build stuff.

''floaty controls should have been fixed by now.''

Fixed? It's not like it's a bug or something. The controls have been like that since LBP1, deal with it :)

if LBP changed their controls it would be as bad as the new mario's making everything floaty even though the first games all had tight, precise controls.

dont exaggerate, the controls are fine.
I remember wanting to try LBP for the first time, and read on forums that the controls are too floaty this and that, but I didnt hesistate and made the right move in the end. To my surprise, the controls weren't as bad as people made them out to be. Sure it doesn't congtrol like Mario, but not every platformer needs to control like Mario. Hell even Donkey Country TF doesnt control like Mario with its heavier controls.
Not to mention that LBP doesn't rely on precise platforming, but more on physiques puzzle solving, grabbing and Team work. The controls are easily getting used to

Am I the only one who enjoys the controls in the LBP games?

No collector's edition?

Easily the worst looking Sackboy toys ever made?

I know what to expect and enjoy from LBP so I'm not put off. Plus those Sony mascot costumes look awesome! :D

It looks the same sack boy plush from the LBP2 collectors, which is good for me because I turned mine into a Romney voodoo doll during the last presidential election. It's time for a replacement/back-up voodoo doll.
