UPDATE 1-Infineon's Qimonda to supply Xbox graphics chips

Infineon memory-chip unit Qimonda said it will supply graphics memory chips for Microsoft's Xbox 360 video games console.

Microsoft has chosen Qimonda as preferred supplier for the chips in a contract that will last several years, with long-term prices agreed, Qimonda management board member Thomas Seifert told Reuters on Monday. (Industry, Xbox 360)
