Looks to me like Destiny, with 5 x the pre-orders of TLOU, just on one console, and still 8 weeks out, will sell more systems.

Eonjay1306d ago (Edited 1306d ago )

Thats a lot of Destiny on one console :)
Wait, weren't you just saying how successful Titanfall was? Man wait til you see 5x TLOU on one console.

TLOU might be a great game. May be even one of the best ever made, as expressed by critics and PS fans alike. But High acclaim and great review scores aren't alone usually the driving force behind why people run out and buy new systems in droves. The type of game and the appeal to the masses, are much more important in driving game sales.

People (gamers or critics) saying how great it is will probably work well for those how already own a PS4. I don't see many who already owned a PS3 and were not interested when it had high acclaim then, suddenly rushing out to pickup a PS4 to play it. Xbox fans really don't know what to make of it, because they have no exposure to develop any appeal for it.

So what this game needs is advertising that shows the rest of the gaming world the best aspects of the game that would make them want to have the full experience. As great people are saying it is, it may still not catch the attention of a wider audience without possessing the require excitement (hype).

Thats easier said than done but I get your point. I was actually told to play this from a diehard Xbox fan. I am glad I listened.

looks to me like you're off-topic, trolling like you usually do.

this article has nothing to do with destiny on xbone.

can anyone find the current pre-order numbers for TLOU: R? wasn't it something like 7 million or was that the PS3 sales numbers?

@eonjay - that's what i thought... so what are/were the remastered pre-order numbers?

Eonjay1306d ago

7 Million was the PS3 sales.

Response to the title: Really? It comes out tomorrow. No one can answer that question now and we'll know in a few weeks or months.

Kavorklestein1306d ago (Edited 1306d ago )

The same logic can be applied to MOST predictions for any system, for any game, for the rest of the year. These consoles and their games haven't even been out for a year yet, so we just gotta wait and see.

Muzikguy1306d ago

I agree. They title makes it sound like the game has been out and selling systems already, yet it comes out tomorrow
