Gamer Mondays: Not Forgetting Valiant Hearts

"Over the past weekend, we finally had the chance to finish Ubisoft Montpellier's thoughtful World War I adventure/puzzle game Valiant Hearts: The Great War. While certainly far from the most difficult game on the market, we quite enjoyed many of the puzzles the game offered, including a very tense escape scene, and found Valiant Hearts' simple story to be greater than many of the over-complex narratives featured in other modern games." - Travis Tucker, Stealthy Box

This was a day one purchase for me and I don't regret it one bit. Such a fantastic story and the style of the game is simply brilliant. Even with all the big games dropping in late 2014, this game will absolutely still be in my top 10 of the year list...maybe even top 5. What made me angry with this game, is well...not the game itself, it was reviews from sites like IGN that listed the historical facts as intrusive. Stuff like that is why this game is getting ignored...probably.
