For the Love of Gaming Podcast Episode 165: Dark Souls Must Die

The summer drought is still going on in the gaming world, so that means it was time for the 4LOG crew to catch up on some old games, and check out some beta’s.

Cory and Basher talk about the delay of Battlefield: Hardline, and what they thought of the information about the new Doom title that was unveiled at Quakecon.

The entire 4LOG crew played the Destiny Beta, and 2 of the 3 really enjoyed it, while Cory canceled his pre-order.

Cory and Chris talk about their adventure with Dark Souls, and discuss why they think the game is almost entirely broken. They also talk about some 3DS games they picked up such as, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Mario Party: Island Tour, and Bravely Default.

Finally, Cory talks about his experience with the beta for The Crew on PC.

The story is too old to be commented.

Dark Souls II is "janky" because it doesn't hold your hand, spoon-feed you the story, and give you loot you think you deserve just for playing it?

Git gud casul.

Yeah, i stopped listening after they started complaining.

He actually said its Janky because of the bad frame rate, dropped frames, and bad hit detection. Way to listen there chief.

Also that they had been using the same loot from the first 4 hours of the game, and after playin it for 20 hours, you would think you would find something better....

Like what Dudebro90 said, we never said it was janky because it doesn't hold you hand, spoon feed you the story, and give you the loot you deserve.

We said it was Janky because of the really bad fluctuating frame rate, the awful hit detection, non reliable controls, and the way the game gives you loot.

IF you are gonna try to call someone out, at least get your facts straight.
