Zelda: Majora’s Mask for 3DS reportedly spotted in Target

An alleged employee of a Target retail store in Canada has snapped pictures of what is claimed to be stock tags for Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask on 3DS–you know, that unannounced game that everyone wants to play. The unnamed source has also presented what appears to be a screenshot of the Target database entry for the same title, with a placeholder release date of December 31, 2014. (3DS, The Legend of Zelda)

Hard to tell

Still not concrete proof of anything. Anyone with access to the Target System could make a fake entry and print tags for it. I could do the same thing when I was a manager at Blockbuster.

I will wait for the official statement from Nintendo before I believe anything.

I know a random rumor from Target is unlikely to be true....but oh man I would do anything for a Majora's Mask remake/update!

I can deal with a lot more N64 crossover games. Jet Force Gemini, Donkey Kong 64, Blast Corps, would all be welcome on my 3DS.

They should bundle Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time and A Link Between Worlds all on one disc for the Wii U, I'd buy it instantly.

Hope not!

I doubt that this would slip at retail. Nintendo surely would have mentioned this at E3. Additionally it would have been playable in some form.

I say this is a hoax.

Old and fake

Old News...

Probably fake, but damn, that's a good fake. To get the scanner to display the information is amazing. I know that is a real scanner, worked at a retail store where we used those. They're able to track all product info for an entire district of stores.

If this Target scanner was able to show it, for sure other stores in the area could see the same listing, it's all connected. I do not know how they would fool a device like this without repercussions or alerting somebody, somewhere.

Class Zelda game, needs to be brought back ASAP.

Why is this up again on N4G? Same pictures from well over a week ago.
