Images and New Info From The Next Mass Effect Surface At SDCC

Industry insider Shinobi602 (@shinobi602) is at the San Diego Comic-Con and has released some images of the next title, showing off the Mako in action, also it’s return to the series, and he released images of the hero’s male and female armor, which looks pretty badass in my opinion. Also leaked details from NeoGaf quote the developers on quite a number of things. Apparently the next Mass Effect game will take place during Shepard’s lifetime but he/she will make no appearances.

Going back to what ME1 was, and then expanding on that in new ways seems like a logical idea for where they could go with this.

The Mako was awesome, I loved that part of the game.

Indeed, this is the way it should be. Boggles my mind as to why the just completely did away with the Mako/vehicle exploration in the 2nd and 3rd game. Someone told them it was boring? Wouldn't doubt it, but damn, what a shame. They could have just tweaked the experience rather than eliminating it.

Hmm, but lets assume shephard is 'alive' during this game. They can't create a truly new threat, or it could undermine the old trilogy. So its either set before the trilogy or maybe some kind of psi op during. Also, I guess humans and existing races set in this galaxy remain, so the council will know of it... again linking to the trilogy makes it complicated! Its exciting to think how this game will exist inside the trilogies narrative. But likely its set before!

It depends imo, if the new game are set in a new galaxy far away from anything going on with shepard maybe they would only hear about whats going on. The reapers im sure would have the same set up throughout different galaxies so i would imagine IF they do what they are saying that they would be expecting it to come there way but it never does because of what shepard does. Just a theory of course though

True. I like the concept of this focusing on a secret organization looking to leave the galaxy to explore others. Venturing away from the reapers and into completely new territory, races etc. Maybe this organization set to leave our galaxy in belief the reapers would destroy ours!

Definitely liking the Mako coming back, and Definitely liking the graphics shown when the mako is rushing downhill in the ice world. I'm very excited for this Mass Effect, whatever/wherever/whenever it may be.
