5 Overlooked Wii U Games, New Owners Should Play

N247 writes: So you finally bought a Wii U? Well, congratulations! The Wii U may have had a slow start, but everything is now coming together the way we all thought it would when the system launched. Thanks to the recent launch of Mario Kart 8, the Wii U has become a very popular gaming system. However, Mario Kart 8 is not the only great game on the system, in-fact, the Wii U has some of the best games this generation. Unfortunately, many new Wii U owners may not know of about some of the great titles that came before Mario Kart 8. (Wii U)

ind1fference  +   55d ago
There are more games available than WiiUs sold.
randomass171  +   55d ago
There are seven million games in the Wii U library?! O_O Where the heck have I been?!
lilbroRx  +   54d ago
Now if someone had made a remark like this about a Sony product like the Vita, they would have been moderated in minutes.
GotHDGame  +   54d ago
DERP, Stupid comment, are you what 12 or 13? The Wii U has sold More that XB1, and in fact I think this Holiday Wii U will sell way more than XB1, what are you playing? A last gen system?

PS
PC does not count as a console.
ind1fference  +   54d ago
So apparently my extremely hyperbolic comment has been taken seriously. I'll clear my head by playing Rayman Legends...on my Wii U.
AnimeAvenger  +   55d ago
I don't think Zombi U was overlooked.
JacketsNest101  +   55d ago
He's not saying it was overlooked, but that it is overlooked.
legionsoup  +   55d ago
.............what?
JacketsNest101  +   52d ago
Sorry, that was kinda confusing. I meant to say that he is saying that is currently being overlooked, but that when it released it was not overlooked.

Deus Ex is definitely a great game for the Wii U. Probably the best version available.
lilbroRx  +   54d ago
No it isn't, and it will not be until they lower the price to not a penny more than what is costs on the PS3 and 360 currently.

They were selling all the versions for less than $20 a month ago. Why didn't you pick it up then?
paulcek  +   54d ago
On Amazon Deus Ex is 16.89 (Wii U version)
PS3 version costs 15.69.
360 version costs 15.65
PC version is 19.99

It's a dollar difference. And it's worth it.
GotHDGame  +   54d ago
Look another NON Wii U owner saying how pricing should be....The Wii U version Of Duex Ex on Wii U is far better than on PS360. Yet another DERP Comment.

All you have to do is READ what the developers say before commenting so stupidly.

pikmin 3 is overlook play it love it
Metallox  +   55d ago
This man knows.
SG1_dapunisherX  +   55d ago
thanks once I play it, the game become fun and addicting
mcstorm  +   55d ago
I agree for me pikmin should be in there instead of zombie. I also think wind weaker should be in that list too.

I hope Nintendo start to bundle some of these games with the Wiiu as games like pikmin 3, Lego city etc would be enjoyed by a lot of people who don't know about games like that ice not heard one person say a bad thing about pikmin or Lego city.
LightDiego  +   55d ago
Lego City is awesome, the best Lego game ever. I still need to play The Wonderful 101. :(
Remy_Chaos  +   55d ago
Nice little list, I'll definitely look into some of these once my MK8 bundle arrives, I got it along with DK Tropical Freeze (reminiscent of my SNES with Super Mario Kart and DK County 2.) Can't wait to play some Nintendo games again.
JacketsNest101  +   55d ago
Enjoy them, man. Make sure you pick up Lego City and The Wonderful 101, as they two of the funniest (and most fun) games I have ever played.
Remy_Chaos  +   55d ago
Man? Heh sure lol. Anyways yeah I have my eyes on that Wonderful 101, though it does come off as a strange name along with Splatoon. Oh well, as long as they're fun and even though I'm new here, I'll take your word ;)
hermsgerms  +   55d ago
Good timing for the article, literally just bought mine today!
AceofStaves  +   55d ago
Picked mine up a couple of weeks ago, and 'Lego City' just arrived. Now all I need is some free time to play it.
Loadedklip  +   54d ago
Wonderful 101 was my personal game of the year last year.

Yes I played and beat Grand Theft Auto V, Last of Us, Mario 3D World, Zelda ALBW

Wonderful 101 is up there with the best of the best. Incredible game.

I was at Hyper Japan in London yesterday and got to see the Amibo's and Bayonetta 2 + Hyrule Warriors. I very got to say it all looked really impressive. Nintendo were the biggest exhibitors and Wii U had big queues.
