earned it, the tittle brings back the old school fun factor we all grew up with it's no wonder GoW and Zelda are on top of that list. GoW/Contra.

True next gen. version of them both. Raziel was an awesome character along with the soul reaver. Ahhh I miss those day's. I'd love to see a Max Payne next gen. as well. I will settle for a 9.9 rated remeby game by the name of Alan Wake.

Gears of War is one of those games that will be in demand on whatever the next Xbox system of the distant next next gen. will be as well. It has all the awesome grab you by the boo boo elements that immerses you into it's world.

Gears is the first game in a long time that I want to play over again after finishing it.

It definately reminds me of Contra in that sense. No matter how many times you beat it, its still just as much fun as it was the first time.

CliffyB really knows how to incorporate old school charm into next gen gameplay: two player co-op, reloading mini game, immediatly jump into the action (instead of holding your hand for 2 levels of tutorials), etc.
