Games with Gold vs PlayStation Plus: July 2014

Games with Gold annoyed me as one of the games was the same as last month.
MS stepped it up by saying in May that as off June they will offer 2 games a month, topping Sonys offering of 1 game a month for PS4. They failed to mention that 1 of the 2 games would be exactly the same the following month...

Sony has 2 PS4 games offered per month now though. Started this month and we got Towerfall Ascension and Strider

Sony offers two NEW games a month for pS4, PS3, and Ps Vita. 6 games a month is such an insane deal.

Games with Gold will only have one new game each month. It was in the fine print on the advert I saw on Xbone. So you will continue to be annoyed. Hopefully since that is the case we continue to get quality new releases like Guacamelee (best indie I have played all year). They also did not say anything about offering two games a month but they did say something related to kicking the program off with the two games that came out in June, sorry you were misinformed.

Free stuff is nice but there's more available out there then just indies for next gen (XB1/PS4)hint hint. Let's hope August is better for next gen(XB1/PS4)fingers crossed.

PS4 could have giving idk say Knack or 2K14 (like they did on PS3)

XB1 could have giving idk say Ryse or Titanfall (how's that for a stretch? lol).

I don't hate indies, I'd just like to see a lil AAA love sooner then later that's all.

I don't know for 2k14, but knack doesn't meet psn+ requirement ( +70 meta ) that is way it not here.

I can agree to an extent, these current gen consoles aren't even a year old yet though, give em a little more time to let devs get their money's worth though retail, Sony is giving gamers a lot, especially if you have a ps3 and vita, I can't complain about saturation of Indies, we've received some great games via indie and many genres as well, ps3, Triple A, ps vita Triple A, give the current gen a few more months and time to put more Triple A's on shelves before they start giving away first party or multiplatform Triple A's if anyone is going to give out multiplatform Triple A's first it will be Sony, same for MS though you shouldn't expect anything spectacular when they do give you something, you might get roboloco lol, jp jp, just give em a little time bro.

MS offered the debut of a title on the system as a GWG title, that to me is better than two older titles. That being said Guacamelee is was an amazing game, I wouldn't have played without it being on GWG.

Gold is better because I can keep my games no matter what compared to if for some reason what so ever my ps+runs out. Your just gonna hhave alot of useless files..

Correction: If your Gold membership ends...you dont get to keep your Xbox One games.

As far as keeping your Xbox 360 games, Ive been a Playstation Plus member for over 3 years. I've downloaded over 200 games on my PS4, PS3 and Vita. Sony has given me so many free games to play, I've had to delete games off my harddrive myself just to free up space for newer free games being offered. You think PlayStation gamers are concerned about not keeping games they already played for free 2 or 3 years ago?

You claimed my "math was terrible" because PS Plus only offers us "1 free game a month". You are wrong. PS Plus offers several games every month across the PS4, PS3 and Vita.

Since the PS Plus service first launched in 2010, Sony has given us: 144 - PS3 games, 12 - PS4 games, 44 Vita games and 87 PSOne/PSP games. That equals 287 total games. I suggest you do your research in the future before sending out bitter private messages with completely wrong information.

On Xbone games work just like PS + where when your subscription expires you lose access to the game until you resubscribe. Xbox 360 is the only one to offer games to keep.

I have to give it to gold again since the games you get are yours to keep. With the ps plus you just rent the games while your a member but its sony so thats what is expected.Still its nice to see both giving us gamers some good stuff while we give them our money every year
