Hitman: Sniper is "very much a Hitman game"

Gamereactor talked with creative director Ollie Sykes about Hitman: Sniper, the free-to-play game that's bringing Agent 47 to tablet: "We were very respectful as we were developing it, and there's nothing that's too kind of arcadey or crazy in there, but there's still that little sense of dark humour in there. It's still very much a Hitman game when you play it."

Nah. It really doesn't look far off from Blood Money on PS3. Pretty decent graphics for mobile considering all the AI moving around, the size of the levels, etc.

Seeing how Hitman Go managed to be a great game in its own rights on tablets/smartphones, I'm willing to give them a fair chance. Many developers aren't able to take an established franchise and port it down to tablets, but it's not an impossible task.
