Why didn't they ask Apple to do the same?

"The investigation has lead to a lot of pressure being placed on Apple and Google by the European Commission regarding consumer awareness and misleading terms of use, such as “free-to-play”, pressure which today finally caused one of the two F2P giants to fold."

"Apple, however, has not made such a maneuver. From the press release, the Commission stated that “no concrete and immediate solutions have been made by Apple to date to address the concerns linked in particular to payment authorization…."

If you read the article, they did ask Apple. Just Apple has decided that they'll "address those concerns" but don't have a time frame on when they would if they ever do.

Good, now get EA on board so we stop hearing it. Call it Fee To Play now.

Warframe is 100% Free to play by the way.

That's stupid. This whole debate has been a fight against nothing but ignorance. If you don't want to buy anything, don't buy anything. The game is still free to download and play. It's funny because the whole thing started because of some parents letting their kids free roam with their device, not knowing they were racking up fees. Never mind the people who are just upset that they don't know what a free to play game is.

"Free to play" is a deceptive term. Like any other false advertising, it needs to go away.
