Ricky from Twinfinite writes: "Google has responded to pressure from the European Union to regulate its marketing of free-to-play games by making a drastic change; removing the term "free" from games with in-app purchases altogether."
Why didn't they ask Apple to do the same?
Good, now get EA on board so we stop hearing it. Call it Fee To Play now.
Warframe is 100% Free to play by the way.
That's stupid. This whole debate has been a fight against nothing but ignorance. If you don't want to buy anything, don't buy anything. The game is still free to download and play. It's funny because the whole thing started because of some parents letting their kids free roam with their device, not knowing they were racking up fees. Never mind the people who are just upset that they don't know what a free to play game is.
"Free to play" is a deceptive term. Like any other false advertising, it needs to go away.
