Microsoft has more Japanese Xbox One games to reveal

With the Japanese release of Xbox One just around
the corner, we've already seen Microsoft putting a
little more effort into the famously Xbox-resistant
market than usual. Exclusive hands-on events,
specialised apps, even new games at launch all promise
a neat experience for Japanese buyers. But will all
this make a difference where previous consoles have
struggled?

Japanese games like multiplats or exclusives? I wished sometimes they can be more specific on what they write just saying.

Sometimes I wonder if you're even a person.

I am not sure if the push MS is taking in japan will pay off or not (as I am not informed on that market) but I can say I am extremely happy to hear this. Assuming these get western ports I hope that some of these games are JRPG's in the veins of blue dragon and lost odysee.

EDIT:@castillo my thoughts exactly.

I'm just happy that there's no more region locking. So whether or not Xbox finds some success in japan , everyone can enjoy the games.

I seriously hope MS keep supporting Japanese games until the end of XB1 lifetime even if it gives them little profit, unlike the previous gen where they only support it in the early life time. I need more games like Lost Odyssey.

But seeing how fast they abandoned tv when they see it won't be profitable I get a little worried though..

With Nintendo as well as Sony home consoles struggling in Japan, seriously why is Microsoft even bothering at this point?

KonsoruMasuta1311d ago (Edited 1311d ago )

Even if they tank in Japan, they will still be able to scoop up fans of Japanese games that live in the west.

Having a presence in Japan makes it easier to make deals with Japanese developers.

I don't live in Japan and am excited just cause the chance of those games coming state side would be great.
