An article by The Guardian accidentally spilled the beans on exactly when you might be able to get your hands on Big Boss's next adventure, but they were incredibly quick to remove the reference.
Good! Batman,witcher3 in feb then MGS PP.
March 2015 sounds good.
You weren't first. Ha ha.
It's gonna be Q2 2015. Expecting May/June 2015 release.
How would The Guardian, of all publicists, know the release date? They more than likely removed the mention of it because it was false. I'm going to go out on a limb and say even Kojima has no solid idea (excuse the pun)
The original piece is an interview with Kojima. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that he shared a preliminary do-not-announce release date with his interviewer, probably under an NDA, that then accidentally made it into the article. And I'm not even saying the date is accurate, just that it doesn't take much imagination to come up with scenarios in which an actual internal release date makes it into an interview with Hideo Kojima.
This was indeed a clever pun
if true that would be great, not too far off.
no thats to early folks u got witcher 3 order and batman how heck u expect us to keep up with this. witcher 3 is 200 hour game batman at least 60 plus order bout 20. mid april would be better but people will want to shoot me if that happened lol. cuz u got bloodboorne also in march dear god in heaven im gonna hve no social life for year
Because Metal Gear is bigger than those games in terms of sales and fan base. It can stand on its own ANY time of the year, even in November.
Really hope that dude was not thinking that The Witcher has more fanbase than Metal Gear Solid, lmao, that would be hilarious.
oh yess! i have been waiting for this day for such a long time!
This is why I said 2015 will be one of the best years in gaming. The order 1886 Bloodbourne Uncharted 4 Halo 5 Metal gear solid v ZeldaU Splatoon StarfoxU Mortal kombat X Mighty no.9 The witcher 3 And so much more my wallet can't take it
Might No. 9... respect the nod Terrific list
I want the top 5. :)
March is a good month for games. My birthday is in the middle of March and for as long as I can remember, there's always been a must buy game releasing at the same time. Always.
I have a feeling it's going to release same day as ground zeroes, either way I'll buy it in a heart beat
Well, holy balls.
I was expecting March 2015, but I thought I was just being hopeful. Either way, it won't be too long which I'm excited about. Assuming this is accurate, I've got an entire year to step up my sneaking game in Ground Zeroes. I've got no objections. ;)
Hmm my bday is march 14th..last yr I got infamous second son a wekk later and this yr ill be getting bloodbourne and metal gear
Phantom Pain's release date is all over the place. This is the third rumor I have heard this week, all of them are different dates. Hard to say when it is really coming
So The Order 1886, Arkham Knight, and The Witcher 3 in Feb and the BloodBorne and MGSVTPP in March!
2015, the year I've been waiting for.
I'm doubting this date is right, but I really hope it is. I really want to play this game as soon as possible. 2015 is going to be a great year!
If I could have any game, it would be this! Ground Zeroes was a great introduction to what The Phantom Pain will be and I really do believe it will be the best Metal Gear game to date. I love the open world aspect and it just works!
Hmmm, my prediction is still Summer 2015 though (let's not forget MGS4 came out in June in its respective year), March seems a bit too early.
More than likely the "leaked release date" is a leaked release time FOR an official release date. Meaning whenever that is supposed to be is when you will have a "targeted release date window" This is Kojima we are talking about if you think this game is being rushed you are wrong. I have a running joke with friends, coworkers and customers alike. Which will release first Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Final Fantasy XV Kingdom Hearts III Place your bets!
Hmm I don't know, march 17th isn't on a friday and that sure seems to be the hype.
