Many PlayStation 4 owners have been experiencing a number of issues such as, random console shutdowns, audio/visual problems, and games freezing. The following is a list of troubleshoots for PS4 users experiencing issues.
I don't have any problems with my Ps 4.
Of course you wouldn't, you don't actually have a PS4.
Can't take this one seriously, just look at the stupid picture. Their no huge red light of death problem on PS4, so can guess what kind of article this is.
It says Nov 14, 2013. Also, the PS4, just any console, needs enough space to breathe. You are the one who is wrong! Red light of Death is not an issue for PS4.
@Naruto You right my ninja unexpectedly.
Also another good tip(got it from a friend), is to reset your PS4 and go to your boot menu(by pressing and holding power button until it beeps twice) and selecting "Rebuild Database", this fixes many errors, some even use this option to defrag their PS4. Thread on defragging PS4: http://battlelog.battlefiel... Menu will look like this: https://support.us.playstat...
Im I the only one thats had my ps4 act weird than start up in safe mode? Omg that scared the crap out of me then I remembered I bought the insurance plan :) its only happened once. Was scary af.
I cannot understand why stupid Microsoft does not exploit this issue for marketing
Its not cool to wish system failures on anybody no matter what console you have, just not cool.
how about exploit the "1080p vs 900p" or the "old DRM" now , actually i know why microsoft removed some of marketing employees
The only issue I've had with my PS4 is that a few months ago, I uploaded 2 vids to Facebook & now I cant delete them from my PS4. It says "In use by another application". They're really short clips, so its not like its taking up a lot of harddrive space, but still would like to delete them.. Anyone else have this problem?
I imagine if you remove them from Facebook (via pc) and reboot your PS4, you should be able to delete them. No?
Haven't tried that... Lets see..
My day one PS4 runs perfect. As dose my six year old PS3.
Wow people disagree with a complete fact! Soul crushing names inserted here ~>
Haha. They really reaching. the xbone has just as many problems.
Because 1 or 2 system failures means anything. Even 140,000 failures wouldn't mean anything. That is just 2% of 7,000,000 sold. That's acceptable for electronics. Stop trying to compare this to the xbox red ring of death which was a 33% failure rate.
^This that is all
My ps4 sometimes auto ejects the discs. Solution: turn it off, disconnect it, try to turn it on until it beeps. That solves that issue.
I had the the same problem, I would be playing and the disk would randomly eject. I thought it was defective. I set the ps4 so that the eject button is slightly passed the edge of the table. I haven't had a problem since. I think the button being so sensitive and so close to the surface was causing it to auto eject.
Seems like a shady article - I have had a similar problem where my PS4 randomly shutdown (not overheated as it is ventilated and was only on for 10 minutes). It would not turn back on immediately or the following day. Sony support was awesome and shipped a prepaid box within 3 days. Only disturbing news is when i dropped it off at FedEx, the lady asked what it was because two other people had dropped off a similar package headed to the same address.
short article. Summary version: Make sure your PS4 has room for ventilation and the HDMI cable is connected correctly
