EA goes a different route with 'PGA Tour', incorporates Frostbite engine (Examiner)

Tiger Woods is no more. The golfer is alive and well, but EA's flagship golf franchise has dropped its name. Skipping 2014 altogether has allowed the team to focus on a pure next generation version. Renamed simply PGA Tour, the game is due to ship in Spring of 2015. (E3, EA Sports PGA Tour, PS4, Xbox One)

I think the golf club is where it's gonna be now for golf games, ea ruined PGA tour over the years. To arcadey in my opinion.

I loved one of the older Tiger Woods games, I think it was still on the original Xbox, with a great Game-Face feature and such...

(edit: checked, and it was 2005)

... but I haven't played any of the newer Tiger Woods games, and that was for 1 reason only: DLC-milking.
