State of Play: PS Vita

GR-UK writes: "Recently at E3 Sony quickly went over the Vita in a minute at the press conference, not really revealing any new games. An alarming sign, but perhaps we'll see more announcements at Gamescom and TGS. Bundling the Vita with PlayStation 4 is a step in the right direction. The future looks unsure, but one thing we keep hearing is that the Vita player base that's there keeps buying lots of games. There is hope for the future though with promising exclusives like Murasaki Baby and Gravity Rush 2 as well as incoming indies like Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, Nuclear Throne, Mercenary Kings, Don't Starve and Grim Fandango (well, semi-indie or something)." (Destiny of Spirits, Gravity Rush, Olliolli, PS Vita, Tearaway, Wipeout 2048)

E3 was more than disappointing when it comes to the PS Vita, Sony really dropped the ball, but Gamescom been more or less dedicated to the Vita, so the future looks good IF they keep it up.

Article does not even mention the Japanese scene which for me is the reason to own a Vita... With that said I hope with sales improving in Japan the Vita will start getting titles from the like of Square, Capcom and Konami..... Compile Heart, Idea Factory and Gust are o.k but their games tend to be very fanservicey which puts lots of people off
