Naughty Dog clarifies that the 60 FPS of TLOU Remastered will be "solid" and that cutscenes locked at 30 FPS will only display every other frame.
July 29th can't come any sooner. Really exited to play this on PS4. I'll play my first playtrough at 60 FPS and the second at 30 FPS.
Same here Naruto I question though I wonder if theres a FPS option for multiplayer as well!
U guys are taking to long in saving the world it's been like years and now I know why cause your playing to play through of last of us... I can understand this its a really good game
Every naughty dog game has a solid frame rate so I wouldn't doubt them one bit if they say TLOU is running at a solid 60fps in 1080p :-D
Did you really exit?
Exactly Naruto.... and after that, there's no world to save anymore....
Unless..... You enter the even-horizon of a black hole while waiting causing time to move slower for you but here on earth where TLOU: Remastered is releasing, time goes by in its normal pace. This makes it possible for July 29th to come faster from your perspective :) Only a tiiiiiiiny problem with that.
Why bother with 30 fps?
Really tired of hearing these developers praise how good the game looks in 60FPS, can they please shut up and maybe SHOW US how good it looks in 60FPS instead of just constantly hyping it like they've been doing for the past several months. The game launches in under 2 weeks and we are yet to see any 60FPS gameplay.
Maybe they want it to be a surprise how good its going to be. :)
They have shown enough of the game for us to see the vast visual gap, but i do agree that im sick of devs hyping up the technical side of their games. I mean No Man's Sky is a very technically interesting game that warrants explanation and discussion, but talking up 1080p and 60 fps is getting old. 60 frames was very commonplace in the 6th gen (even on dreamcast), the way people talk about it these days like it's a new feature or something is annoying.
I agree that some gameplay videos are warranted. However, the difference between 30fps and 60 fps is usually more of a "feel" thing than a visual thing for gamers. I WOULD like to see a 1080p video just to see the improvements in action. That being said, I fully expect it to be a prettier, more crisp version of videos that have been pouring over the internet for well over a year. Otherwise, if you just want to see the improvements to warrant a purchase. I get it. If this is your first exposure to TLOU, well there are tons of videos to sift through to see if it's your kind of game...only the game that you will be getting will be improved visually and be more responsive.
Looking forward to the game as I never played it on ps3. But why is every article about this game getting approved? They all talk about the same exact things. 4 out of 5 articles at the top of the main page are TLOU. 2 talk about visual improvements in general the other two are about 1080p/60fps. So basically they are all about the same thing. Seriously, it's not like this is a new IP. I get it when there is 50 articles about something new but this game came out last year.
the countdown begins
Hmmmm I have no idea what framerate OR resolution my dreams run at. Next time I have one I will be sure to submit it to Digital Foundry for proper analysis.
And if it drops below 60fps?
Time for an upgrade!!! Or, blame yourself for not optimizing your brain code. LOL
BEHOLD! WHAT IS APPARENTLY THE FIRST AND ONLY GAME TO EVER RUN AT 60FPS!
Can't wait to play this game for the first time and at 60fps :)
It could be worse, remember when Sasuke had 3 bubbles?
13 days to go!!!!
Destiny beta tomorrow, and then TLoU Remastered. Going to be a great rest of the month.
