What to expect from the Destiny beta

This Thursday, 17th July, Bungie will open the doors to the Destiny beta, and hundreds of thousands of players - potentially even millions - will assault its servers. Those who have pre-ordered the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3 versions of the game go first, with Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners going second on 23rd July. That timed exclusivity, alongside a raft of exclusive content relating to weapons, emblems, vehicles, space ships and even the expansion pack, is the result of Sony shelling out to make Destiny, set to be one of the biggest games of 2014, feel as close to a PlayStation exclusive as it possibly can without it actually being one.

I kinda don't want my progress to transfer over simply because I just want to start fresh again once the full final game comes out. I just wanna be able to have a taste of a even bigger game .

The only thing I expect is the hive to try and run away from my throwing knife and failing in the process.

have u guys got the beta code yet ?

KwietStorm_BLM3565d ago

I was about to ask the same thing, because I preordered at more than one place, and I haven't gotten a code yet.

hello123565d ago

Did you not sign up at the Bungie site? You have to upload the code you got with your preorder and the details to what do next should have came with the email.

http://www.bungie.net/en/us... Here is the link you have to sign up here doesn't matter if your playing on x box or playstation!

I did that part long time ago. I choised ps4 europé beta code. Will they send us them tomorrow so we can download the Destiny beta from the ps store ?

hello123565d ago (Edited 3565d ago )

The date for when you get the code should be showing on the bungie site. It did for me.

Used to love this one, but X-Men Legends 1 and 2 will always be my favorites, especially Rise of Apocalypse. Would pay some good money to play it today with online multiplayer, back then I had no way to get a modem

I remember buying them dirt cheap on the PS4 and then a few days later I read they were delisted. I was wondering why the bundle was price so low and got my answer when that happened.

Sad to say this is one game franchise next to the Xmen that needs a sequel. I use to play the hell out of Xmen Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Was great when my cousin had the OG Xbox play with four other people and then playing online. Great games glad to see it reappear even though I own the discs love the mechanics of this game.

Terry_B40m ago

It got a sequel..but for dumbass #reasons as a switch exclusive.

shinoff218335m ago

It looked so horrible to. They should've kept it similar to the first two.

Asplundh20m ago

Because Nintendo funded it, they did the same for Bayonetta.

Knightofelemia2m ago

I totally forgot about the Switch sequel.

jukins31m ago

Misleading. This page is whats available for people who owned the game prior to delisting.
