Top 8 Pokemon Urban Legends, Myths and Rumors

Since it's humble beginnings back in 1996, Pokemon has quickly grown into one of the biggest and most popular franchises ever. As with anything that manages to become big and popular, rumors and myths about the game began circulating and spreading through the internet like wild fire, originating from who knows where. These are the top 8 Pokemon myths, rumors and urban legends. (3DS, Nintendo DS, Pokemon)

I remember searching for Mew near the S.S. Anne so many times when I was a kid. I was convinced the rumor was real. lol

I'm glad to say I got all 150 in Blue that could be legitimately caught/traded (took a few months for my friends and I at lunch through link cable). I achieved 151 through a gameshark. Which was the only way to get mew unless you were the 50 first in line at certain events. Yellow didn't exist when I was filling my Pokedex.

I got all 150 legit on a French copy of blue, then my friend gave me a mew. I was so happy, then my sister started a new game ;/

I would always hold A+B+Up when throwing a Pokéball in the hopes it would increase the chances of capture.

Childhood is so weird. As a kid I collected all 150 so of course I tried this Mew glitch. To this day I "remember" catching a mew under the truck. Except I used Mewtwo with strength because he was the only one that could do it. It's not possible.

That means that I lied and brainwashed myself as a child in to thinking something was completely real. I remember the setting and being excited when I "caught" him. None of it was real. Who am I? Do I even exist?
