Here is 5 reasons that the PS4 will dominate in 2015

It's not the end of 2014, but both Sony and Microsoft are already showing their guns for 2015.

So far Sony seems to have it's upper hand by far with an arrange of both services and games right at the start of the year, alongside a very strong line up at the end of the year.

I honestly think that No Man's Sky is going to be extremely underwhelming. I hope for the best for it, and I want it to be amazing. @Spotie You fail to understand its not about who outsells who on total sales. Its about selling a system for success. Only fanboys care about total system sales when they gain nothing from it. Those games I mention will most likely push console sales thought the roof, and giving the franchises most likely outsell there competitors on there releases. PS4 has a big gap for 1 game to over come there total system sales. To gamers its all about the better games not which console sells more. Halo 5 and Zelda U is quality and they will only further the success of these already successful consoles.

You're underestimating Uncharted. Judging by that in game engine trailer shown for uncharted 4 at E3, it will set the benchmark graphically for games in the future. Uncharted 4 is a very popular franchise and the 7 million+ people that have a Ps4 should at least be aware of it. Naughty Dog's reputation for making brilliant games has sky rocketed after the uncharted series and after the last of us especially(not that they had a bad one beforehand). In fact, the resounding success of the last of us last year most probably contributed to the ps4's impressive amount of sales at launch, because people would have been fully aware that ps4 has ND (obviously it's not the only reason.

Can't stand this argument.

First of all, this generation, unlike last, we have a clear leader in overall power, the PS4.

Secondly, 95%+ of all games released on both consoles will be multiplatform...and those games look and PLAY better on the PS4.

Third, and probably most importantly, Microsoft has a "vision" for what they want...it involves them being the center of ALL our entertainment. Some of us neither want, nor need, Microsoft as our entertainment "gatekeeper", keeping tabs on our viewing habits, games being played, LOGOS ON OUR COFFEE TABLES, NUMBER OF PEOPLE VIEWING, etc.

If you want to play GAMES, it's a simple choice. Get a PS4. If you are more interested in voice commands that don't always work (and haven't bought a TV with them already), want half-baked TV integration, or want to replicate the functionality of a $35 Chromecast, or $99 Apple TV or Roku, then get the Xbox.

Finally, I would say that most people don't have an extra $500-$600 to spend on a 2nd "next gen" console and all of the accessories. Those that DO are probably skipping the consoles completely and buying PCs, as for $800-$1000, you can get a pretty decent gaming rig!

These consoles are for gaming and social experiments. You buy them for the exclusive games and to play with you friends. If not everyone would own a PC.

I have a feeling it will get delayed, but who knows. Uncharted 3 came out in 2011, so it should be ready to go by 2015. The only thing that could delay it is if they totally started from scratch when those ND employees left.

I'll probably buy a PS4 next year if the list of exclusives stays and none of these get delayed. Not really a Dark Souls or Demon Souls guy, so Bloodbourne doesn't do much for me. I need to see more of No Mans Sky for me to get excited about it. The Order I have mixed feelings about, but the game looks like a mix between gears of war and uncharted, so that's enough for me to buy it alone. And Uncharted is one of the greatest game franchises of all time. I don't think many people need to explain why they're excited for it.

sony has 14 First Party Studios all of which focus on the Core Gamer

Microsoft has 8-9 First Party Studios that focus on the Core Gamer while the rest are Casual. Not to mention Microsoft doesn't own ONE studio in another country besides USA, Canada and Europe and even then, Sony owns them in numbers.

Sony owns the most franchises because they been around the longest and most of them appeal to the Core Gamer Market not the Casual Market.

PS1 and PS2 both dominated their generations their is no denying that.

PSP dominated the 7th generation handhelds no denying that.

PS3 was off to a slow start but in the end it dominated the 360 in the end.

PS4 is dominating the Xbox One and Wii U right now.

PS Vita is dominating right now because it offers the the best Japanese Experience for a handheld console.

Offering the most diverse games because Sony has many first party studios from all around the world, and many second party studios from all around the world as well. And their Exclusives speak for themselves, because their not all shooters or their not all RPGs or whatever genre.

Its like sony is a religion now..
Preference, o.s, controller and EXCLUSIVES are what matter. You can show me planet side 2, uncharted , little big planet, samurai warriors etc but people enjoy MS exclusives and not alot of people are willing to throw them away. A person who LOVES halo or gears will not be so quick to give them up even for uncharted. Before you go crazy I bought a ps4 for the order, last of us 2, and uncharted but the other sony exclusives didnt interest me. I beat infamous second son but had more fun and put more hours in to titanfall, even dead rising 3. So chill out on the sony religion. Peopl3 need to be more objective instead of being so fan boy blinded and hate blinded. I can say im just as excited for the order as I am quantum break.
P.s I also had a ps3 and beat uncharted 1,2,3 god of war 3, MGS4 (favourite game), last of us and bunch of other gamez.
