DriveClub's single-player mode will be playable to the public for the first time at this weekend's Scottish Car Show, it's been revealed.
Would it be completely insane of me, as someone who is not a car enthusiast (If someone asks what car my friend drives, I usually say "A blue one") to buy a ticket to Edinburgh just to play DriveClub? No? Good. I'll book now. It's only like 50 quid from Ireland :D If you go with Ryanair of course... and I think it would be insane of me to go with Ryanair. Completely insane to fly with Ryanair in fact. So I'm just going to pass on this. Thanks a lot, Ryanair, ya bunch of feckin' cowboys! It's great to hear that the first hands on the public is getting will be in Scotland where the dev team have been working hard on the game for the last 5+ years or so, it would be heresy to have it anywhere else.
You may want to have your doctor up your ADHD medication. :) can't wait to play this game. I wish they would give us this demo over PSN. Let everyone play it over the weekend. I always like when games like this get demoed at car exhibitions. It brings the world of gaming to people who generally wouldn't be interested in it. The more gamers, the merrier.
If you do happen to go, i'l personally like to hear ya feed back on the handling.. One of my biggest concerns since the visual department has ticked all my boxes. :)
I didn't go... I think I was on my 4th cup of coffee when I hatched that hair brained scheme
Ooh some lucky bugger's are gonna get to play it early. So close now can't wait. Re christian lol. I live in Yorkshire, its only a train ride for me. It's actually cheaper for you though. Sodding british rail.
I really wish they would put a demo on PSN asap. Even just one track with two cars. They can call it a beta demo or whatever. Just let us play a bit.
You know, I really hate that demos are barely a thing any more. Especially with big games, they are almost non existent. We get the occasional demo for some smaller games and that's about it. I remember in the early days of PS3 and 360 we got demos ALL THE TIME. Every store update each week we got at least 2 or 3 demos. Big game demos came around quite often, and I would get the chance to see if I liked a certain game. But today it's super rare to even get a demo each week, and when there is one it's something most don't care for. Now the "thing" is to put betas out like crazy behind pre-order pay walls, and they treat those like demos. It's so frustrating. PS Now would be the perfect service for 1 hour demos, but they aren't even doing that. They charge 3 or 4 dollars for 4 HOUR TRIALS, they are crazy. I want to see more demos man, it sucks.
whish they would just stop twatting about and chuck a single track demo up onto PSN...
The games crap, played it at the london, article's bs as well cause was single player.
Get a life. Doubt you played the game and quit trolling.
