Open world racer The Crew will receive regular free content as a way of keeping players engaged in the game, creative director Julian Gerighty has promised.
I like free content! good decision julian. Excited to own this and driveclub! i would careless about microtransactions in this game, because i'm not forced to buy them. So doesn't bother me at all! i'm goingon USTREAM with both of them!
free? I'm afraid... http://www.quickmeme.com/im...
Doesn't bother me none. It's good that they'll give players a good head start on it with parts and aero kits! i'm not a huge fan of bodykits because it's just too much ricer for my style, only certain ones grabs my attention. I already have ideas for how i have my cars & trucks setup! my classic & modern muscles, street & performance specs. Sports, hatchbacks & luxury, street performance specs. Trucks & SUV, street, dirt & raid specs. Exotics & hypercars are performance specs only. My favorite part i'll like about this game is that i can get with friends and start trouble with the police.
great to hear!
The Crew has potential. When I played it, it was fun but it didn't "feel" right. Probably because I was expecting it to be another Burnout.
Hey did you too went to the Ubisoft game lounge
How regular is regular? Every week? Once a month?
Nice, devs on PC use to know this. It's like Gorilla with Killzone, giving the competitive mp maps for free. It's what Epic use to do with UT, mainly not to fragment the community, and it keeps them around much longer, and then you make your crazy $$$ off your next game in the series. I like that it's happening more on consoles now too. The fragmentation of the competitive multiplayer pool of players is the worst part about $$$$ DLC map packs. That's another thing that makes COD suck, ontop of it's other flaws. Like right now on PS4, I can't find Kill Confirmed matches usually after midnight or so, because I have none of the map packs and we don't have full dedicated servers either. They screwed us on both ends, crappy p2p and then you quickly lose your pool of potential opponents with each map pack you don't buy. To make it even further, Ghosts now is riddled with one of the worst cases of forced adverstising. Every freaking store item for the game is now in the damn game. I don't like that I have to scroll through dozens of camos, guns, sights, char customizations that I don't own and can't use. They even start your cursor on them, and I can't even scroll through my different gun classes in a match, because they put 4 extra slots there for buying that you can screw up and click on and get taken to the store. Pub hActivision, along with it's main devs infinity ward & treyarch - They are crappy coding, non-optimizing dirtbags, simple as that. Learn to use the PS4's profiling tools btw. I'm sick of it taking forever to go to menus while in Ghosts, and recording working even less in that game because the obvious reason of it smothering the PS4's cpu in the least optimized way possible. I can't stand them. If only Killzone had the right feel to it, I'd be all over that game. They deserve the support for understanding why it's bad to sell mp map packs though. They can sell campaign dlc and co-op stuff, that's fine, but not anything that'll fragment the competitive mp community. Good it was a Sony 1st party to set that standard at launch too, that was very important. COD won't follow suite, cuz they're too big and too greedy, but they could be dying soon anyhow. I feel some good shooters are on their way, hopefully Epic's new one is worthwhile.
Nice, oh man this could be my first game I buy at launch at full price since 2009. It was the steam sales that made me wait a month or so to buy say games.
