Rather get Forza Horizon 2. More cars. Customization. True dynamic weather AT LAUNCH. Open world heaven. Developers from PGR. nUff said.

I dunno, sometimes it can be put to good use, mario kart for instance. Think of it this way, its more options for people to choose from.

"No Dynamic Resolution and Aliasing Improvement"

No need, already looks too gorgeous. The haters right now are probably like:

I don't think there's an upper limit for gorgeous. The more the better no? :D

Can't argue with that.
Upgrade as they wish, it has already surpassed my expectations. Totally sold on this game.
Taislin  +   579d ago
I think you misinterpreted, ther will be infact an improvement in anti aliasing in the final product.
system22  +   579d ago
im not worried about the visuals. drive club has that covered in spades. im worried about the depth of the actual game. no car customization on top of not being a sim are two major bummers for me.
toddybad  +   579d ago
But it means a more level playing field so driving ability rather than car tuning will affect the outcome - surely this has to be a good thing?
amiga-man  +   579d ago
Exactly toddybad, motorstorm had no tuning or customization but in a race it meant you were all equal, sure some might prefer trucks others big rigs others racing cars and it all added up to a fun game.

winning in this game will be down to your skill as a driver.
pop_tarts  +   579d ago
Then why are you here?
Spotie  +   579d ago
I'm just wondering how many times this has to be explained.

People getting disappointed NOW over stuff that was confirmed to be absent months ago... I don't get it.

"No car customization"

Seems like a pretty weak argument that most haters of this franchise are using. Anyways there is a free version with plus so might as well try it before buying it.

^Yeah man, it's like, if I can't make Mario's dungarees green, I don't wanna play.../S

Yeah the title is misleading. The article says anti-aliasing has been improved since the videos were recorded. Also Not having dynamic resolution is supposed to be a positive. It means no matter how much stuff is on the screen (weather, cars, etc.) it will always run at a native 1080p instead of down-resing.
hkgamer  +   579d ago
Don't think anyone cares about motion controls. It's not Mario kart. Not even sure people playing Mario kart even liked it.

Anyway, if I can maybe use motion control to look slightly to the left or eight then it may be useful.
SnakeCQC  +   579d ago
theres nothing wrong with more options
hkgamer  +   579d ago
True, does the motion control use the camera or is it just talking about sixaxis control?

If it does use camera then it may waste a little processing power

It's the controller i think HK :)

Game looks and sounds (etc) stunning: can't wait to get my hands on it.

GT5 had head tracking but I only used it a tiny bit, now something like Morpheus would be fun in a racer. But I too am not a motion control fan but might see what they do.
hkgamer  +   578d ago
i havent used the head tracking feature in GT5. but I always thought that would be a little weird since you are still staring at screen but only moving your head.

Morpheus would work really well. Let's hope something like the PS4 can handle Drive Club plus Morpheus at the same time.
