Driveclub "Vastly Different" From GRID Autosport, Motorstorm "Maybe In The Future"

Evolution's Game Director assures that Driveclub's handling is vastly different from GRID Autosport; Community Manager leaves a door open for Motorstorm. (Driveclub, Grid: Autosport, Jamie Braidshaw, MotorStorm, Paul Rustchynsky, PS4)

Oh man....please, please, please do a Motorstorm for PS4 after you're done with DC, that would be so amazing.

Just imagine it, DC's level of graphics with buggies, rally cars and quads kicking up mud and gravel.....*bites fist*.

I would love a Motorstorm PS4. Imagine the physics!

Remember that first teaser trailer showing the mud sticking to the screen. I wanna see that!

I loved the original Motorstorm kept me entertained for years and was the reason my mate bought a PS3, I bought the other ones but the original was my favourite some great times racing the Grizzly.

Driveclub looks something special too and it might be the game that drives my mate into buying a PS4, a new Motorstorm would be very welcome although the last one was far too chaotic for my tastes.

even a motorstorm: PR HD remaster would be good enough for me, I just want to have people to play online :(

I agree. The Motorstorm games are among my favorites in PS3, especially Pacific Rift.

Dynamic Weather System looks awesome and eclipses Autosport and all the last-gen stuff!

Concerning Motorstorm: I hope for a return to the style of Pacific Rift. Apocalypse is horrible.

Never played Apocalypse, but I had Pacific Rift and loved it thoroughly.

"Apocalypse is horrible."

I wouldn't call it horrible, I quite liked it, but the novelty of the tracks wore off quite fast, a bit like battlefield levolution (except better).

The first time I got to the spot where all the manholes explode one after the other in front of you is one of my best gaming memories.

I agree, I loved Apocalypse. However, there was something about the first two games that stuck with me more. Maybe it was the settings? Idk. It would be cool if they had Apocalypse's shifting levels, but in Pacific Rifts setting and attitude.

While Pacific Rift was my favorite by far, Apocalypse wasn't horrible at all. It just wasn't as good as PR, but it was still a pretty good game on its own.

A new Motorstorm on PS4...I can only imagine what they could do with PS4's beefier GPU in this game...the environment and the way the vehicles interact in heavy weather, I bet they are really thinking about it now that they know what the PS4 is capable of after making Driveclub!

I still have all 3 disc release versions of Motorstorm for PS3, and looking at them even now they hold up well to todays racers! I get goosebumps to think of what a PS4 iteration of Motorstorm would look like at higher resolution and frame rate.
Tapani  +   321d ago
Yeah, bring it on! I'd buy a big and fun graphical powerhouse racer for PS4! Ohh, four people drunk playing motorstorm on ps4... das the party!
SquidBuck  +   321d ago
An open world Motorstorm to rival Forza Horizon would be sick!
NiteX  +   321d ago
Motorstorm with land vehicles plus water vehicles would be kick ass.
Skankinruby  +   321d ago
Man im drooling just thinking about another motorstorm. Get back to basics and just stick with the simplistic style of the first two. A ps4 version of that with enhanced gameplay and gorgeous graphics like driveclub has would be amazing
