Memorable Vapourware - Part I

So what are our most memorable pieces of Vapourware? Well the list could go on for pages-and-pages, so I will break this up into a series of articles that will span over the next few weeks. (Annoying? Yes. Making it an easier to write? yes.)

1 – The Phantom games system – Sh*t is supposed to come out the other end.
This vapourware first made its way into the public eye in 2002. after the start of a new company, Infinium Labs, soon announced that they will be releasing a revolutionary games system (strike 1).

lol...this is my new favourite article :)

"Check back on Monday for Part II… Or maybe I will hype it up so much and decide that I can no longer be bothered to release it because I am lazy…"

Thats a good line.

I remember being hyped for Starcraft Ghost...and then i just kept waiting and waiting...and i soon forgot. Im still patiently waiting though :)

Lawlz. I'm giving you bubbles on that one because you made me break my more than 24 hour silence; I know everyone missed me and my comments. I wonder what would this game system would have actually been like? My only prediction is that it would have flopped like the Gamecube and the Original Sexbox selling about about 15 million world wide.

The Genius said it.

I played Starcraft Ghost at E3 back in 2005...I do recall it being very "broken" and not at all interesting, it's not surprising it was canned.

The Phantom had a 120GB hard drive and was based on users purchasing their games via a download service that was like steam... Considering that this was in 2002 I think that it was too far ahead of its time.

damn your like an old man that yells at birds.. just instead your yelling at nintendo..

Man the nintendo bashing has hit an all time low. The talk of sticks and things and waving will get you picked up by the med farm or funny farm guys.

Something about recreating old school graphics in an era of HD high poly photo realism just hits a spot. I'm not nostalgic cause I mostly played GameCube and GB/A, but it's a visual style that gets over looked even by indies.

6 Fun Games Where You Actually Play As The Bad Guy

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.

Profchaos37m ago

Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
