if they do i would laugh so hard at sony fanboy responses

ArchangelMike3573d ago

Well they do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

PixelNinja3573d ago (Edited 3573d ago )

So Sony is imitating OnLine?

bigbic3573d ago

Cloud game streaming on consoles is a good thing now. Hard to keep up around here.

akaFullMetal3573d ago (Edited 3573d ago )

@ PixelNinja

Sony bought Gaikia and now implementing it to their playstation network. How is that imitating???
Especially since Gaikia was before Onlive?
I'm unsure what you are trying to convey?

ThePope3573d ago

@akaFUll

Your right its not imitating Sony because all Sony did was BUY a streaming service. If anything its imitating Gaikia.

bigbic3573d ago

^
Sony didn't imitate. They came up with their own console game streaming model and system through a company they bought. Just because there were other game streaming services doesn't mean they copied a service or business model.

You can laugh all you want, but Sony has proven that game streaming is a very likely possibility through PS Now. They even showed and had beta testing for it as well. Cloud gaming and cloud computing on the other hand...

Still laughing???

JBSleek3573d ago

Did you not see the MS BUILD conference when they showed cloud computations on destructibility of surrounding area all running on the cloud?

KillerByte233573d ago

No Sony has proven to Microsoft not to have ridiculous prices and kill the service before it was officially launched.

Godmars2903573d ago

@JBSleek:
They showed something post launch of the system they needed to show pre-launch. This arguing wouldn't be as bad as it is otherwise.

bigbic3573d ago (Edited 3573d ago )

@KillerByte23

The irony in that comment, seeing how Microsoft nearly killed the Xbox before it launched.

Evilsnuggle3573d ago (Edited 3573d ago )

jbsleek@

I'm sitting here Still Laughing at you xbonefanyboys ! WOW Microsoft show a high in PC running a demo of a plain low end graphic full Destructible Environments running at 30fps not 60fps in a controlled environment. And the xbonefanyboys call it the second coming of christ. Wow you xbonefanboys are so easily impressed. You do know many games already have full destructible environment without POWA OF DA CLOUD. Red Faction: Armageddon , Red Faction , Battleflied bad company 2, Black , Battleflied 4 is in 60fps without the POWA OF DA CLOUD . You would not need the POWA OF DA CLOUD if xbone didn't have such a weak GPU in it .The cloud is nothing but more DRM by Microsoft . What happens if you'er internet goes down or what about when Microsoft drops server support for these games that need POWA OF DA CLOUD to play . You will be left with a worthless game disk you with no value just the way Microsoft wants and planned all the time . DRM 2.0 or the cloud putting worthless features that you don't really need or really improve the game just like titanfall. So Microsoft can have more control over you and your games.

@ kayoss
Still laughing like when SF won the Super Bowl last year?

kayoss3573d ago

@bx81
Damn that one hurts. I'll give you that. Now Seattle can say they belong in the NFL and finally be considered a team.

turdburgler10803573d ago

How's that $6 for five hours of gaming treating you? Everyone already knew game streaming worked. It was called gaikai and Sony bought them so they could play you. Playedstation, where gamers go to get played:p

KinjoTakemura3573d ago

Why would anyone say anything worth laughing at? Microsoft can use it's cloud tech any way it chooses.

Godmars2903573d ago

Why, when Sony has only been talking about using cloud servers for game streaming, while MS promoted vast general improvements for new IPs.

Now, after too many other sources have called them on such BS and they themselves have begun to backtrack on premier claims they wont be able to deliver on for years yet, its suppose to be a bad thing that they're jumping on the "me too" streaming bandwagon with Sony?

That its somehow a bad thing *for* Sony?

kamakaz3md3573d ago

See you have to wait to laugh, were already laughing at xbox. Have fun with your toy.

Spotie3573d ago

I'm already laughing. At you.

Eonjay3573d ago

It would be funny because Phil Spencer has said that that wasn't something they were looking to do and that they were wondering how Sony would overcome the obstacles.

user56695103573d ago

this sounds like onlive.soo everyone bashed onlive a couple of years ago now everyone is accepting it. its funny that with onlive the better your connection the better the gfx, but with these they will keep the gfx settings, gotta love downgrades they are happy to receive them. sony didnt invent cloud base gaming too.

TheSaint3572d ago

I wish they would show us some actual evidence of it running live.

They have said a lot but shown us next to nothing.

I will wait for the next demo instead of words.....

And also it's not cheap for devs well at least non XB1 devs.

$75 a day for 100,000 users = about $576,000 a year. That pretty much shows me the potential....

https://twitter.com/lee_sto...

stuna13573d ago

No offense Kayant but his tweet said $75 an hour.

Kayant3573d ago (Edited 3573d ago )

Oh damn you're right I didn't even notice that that's even worst then. Wide spread use is far out.

JBSleek3573d ago

MS should do two things if they are serious about dominating the living room and taking Apple, Amazon, and Google on.

1. Release Xbox TV a $99-$129 set-top box that uses a remote that has voice commands powered by Bing and Cortana. Connect Xbox ecosystem into the box and have HDMI in to layer One Guide over the TV as well.

2. Release Xbox Cloud- A subscription service that utilizes the cloud to play certain Xbox games.

Do it MS! Google is making a big push for the living room.

kamakaz3md3573d ago

I thought xbox one was a TV? A home entertainment device. And you want me to buy a xbox TV? So thats 399 for an xbox one, 200 for a kinect 2, and 129 for a TV device? Yea, that should help take on sony...

Bizzare213573d ago

Where did you hear that Kinect was $200 for the Xbox One? lol

JBSleek3573d ago

1. If you have an Xbox One you wouldn't need the Xbox TV. The Xbox TV is really for people who would never buy an Xbox One at such an expensive price.

2. I don't know the price of Kinect for Xbox One but I doubt it will be $200

3. MS cares much more about competing with Google and Apple then they do Sony. That's just fact. Yes Sony and MS are competing in the console market but overall control of the living room is a battle between Apple, Google, Amazon, MS.

GameSpawn3572d ago

@Bizzare21

The $200 price point is based on the rumored price for the standalone Kinect 2.0 for PC. People are doing this because the standalone Kinect for 360 was fairly close in price to the one for PC.

You can be assured it will retail alone for more than $100, most realistically $150 (incentivising purchasing it with the console up front with $50 of savings and also effectively making PC users shell out $50 more for the adapters to connect it to their PC).

kamakaz3md3567d ago

Either way, it was stupid that microsoft shoved kinect 2 down your throat at Xbone launch. At this point they are just trying to do anything they can to compete with the best selling system. Why would MCSFT compete with google and apple... there competing with sony hands down like always. Im gonna buy an xbox one, but the system isnt as great as ps4.... numbers dont lie!

Cueil3573d ago

When OnLive changed hands Microsoft hired a bunch of the guys who were laid off... not saying that this is coming but they have people who know how to do it.

Used to love this one, but X-Men Legends 1 and 2 will always be my favorites, especially Rise of Apocalypse. Would pay some good money to play it today with online multiplayer, back then I had no way to get a modem

RavenWolfx1h ago

Yeah, I loved the Legends games so much.

ZeekQuattro8h ago

I remember buying them dirt cheap on the PS4 and then a few days later I read they were delisted. I was wondering why the bundle was price so low and got my answer when that happened.

Knightofelemia7h ago(Edited 7h ago)

Sad to say this is one game franchise next to the Xmen that needs a sequel. I use to play the hell out of Xmen Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Was great when my cousin had the OG Xbox play with four other people and then playing online. Great games glad to see it reappear even though I own the discs love the mechanics of this game.

Terry_B6h ago

It got a sequel..but for dumbass #reasons as a switch exclusive.

shinoff21836h ago

It looked so horrible to. They should've kept it similar to the first two.

Asplundh6h ago

Because Nintendo funded it, they did the same for Bayonetta.

Knightofelemia5h ago

I totally forgot about the Switch sequel.

jukins6h ago

Misleading. This page is whats available for people who owned the game prior to delisting.

Abnor_Mal5h ago

The first game was the best imo.

Hades 2 Is Already Fixing The First Game's Biggest Problems

There's a reason they're called 'gods' and not 'regular people'. It's nice they've diversified even more but gods looking godly wasn't exactly a glaring issue with the first game.

Juancho519h ago

Hey! Gods suffer from obesity and diabetes too!

Blastoise9h ago

This is the dumbest article I've read in a long time.

Michiel19899h ago

No one had an issue with that besides a very select group of people that try to push their own agenda.

Crows908h ago

Exactly. Not even sure they're necessarily committing to body diversity either.

The designs look fine not stupid.

gerbintosh38m ago

Who haven't even played the game either

Inverno7h ago

The writer of the this article clearly doesn't know what a real god looks like and has never seen them /s

Tody_ZA7h ago

Thanks for bringing up a bunch of garbage thoughts that never crossed my mind when playing the first game because I was too busy playing the game to worry about the portrayal of the physical bodies of gods.

Foolish me, when I read the title I thought we were talking about game mechanics.

Piss off, honestly, with this asinine bottom of the barrel try-hard-to-be-relevant trash.
