Dragon Slayer – Debut test phase to begin later this month in Taiwan

Developed by Taiwanese studio X-Legend Entertainment (Aura Kingdom), Dragon Slayer will be entering its debut test phase on 17th July. Similar to an alpha test phase, there will be limited slots available.

DG: Dragon Slayer Review

DG: Dragon Slayer, a new Infinity Blade-esque game brought to us by Glu is yet another take on the “swipe, swipe, swipe, push a button, swipe, spend money” genre of gaming that seems to be the only thing I happen to have the misfortune of coming across on the Google Play market. Bear in mind that I come from a background of covering -- and loving -- independent titles, so covering games that are essentially re-skins of a game that came out years ago is a bit depressing.

GameZebo: Dragon Slayer Review

GameZebo: If imitation really is the sincerest form of flattery, the people who made Infinity Blade must be absolutely blushing by now. Developers just can't wean themselves off of those tried-and-true game mechanics for mobile action games, so it should come as no surprise that Glu Mobile's Dragon Slayer continues in that vein. It does carve itself out a unique niche in terms of setting and visuals, but is that enough for iOS and Android gamers?
