Sniper Elite 3 Review – Fire and Forget -- PSLS

PSLS: The latest game by Rebellion Oxford, Sniper Elite 3, puts you in the shoes of a World War 2 officer named Karl Fairburne, who is stationed in North Africa (or “Afrika”) and is the only man capable of stopping a secret Nazi weapon.

If this sounds like a tired and rehashed plot point, you’d be completely correct. By almost all accounts, Sniper Elite 3 is a pure budget title that has been polished enough to make you almost think that it could offer more than it ever will. Not only does the the game’s story sound like it was ripped off from a straight-to-DVD movie, but it also disappoints in delivering on its paper thin premise. (PC, PS3, PS4, Sniper Elite 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One) 5/10

Disappointing. Looked like it had such potential, though the kill cams look really cool.

The kill cams are always the highlight but even they get tiresome after you've seen it for the 50th time.

Personally I'd give the game something like 6.5/10, it's fun to try and replay the missions in a realistic way.

I've read enough to make me wait for a patch and updated reviews. I'd only pay $30 at most as it is now.

I've read so many mixed reviews about this one. It basically has an overall review score of 70. It looks like one of those games you'll just have to try out for yourself. Hit or miss.

I got this game because campaign coop is getting increasingly hard to find. I agree with just about this entire review though.

I'm a big fan of anything co-op and I'm a fan of sniper games. Fun game, but felt a lot like the old one.

Ok what I came always with reading that review though be it a short review.

Is the reviewer doesn't like how the game plays & they hate tanks.

Now my thoughts on his review.

1) Story, yeah it's not the greatest but that's not why we buy this game.
2) AI yeah it can be a bit retarded, but also clever sometimes.
3) Checkpoint system, OK from the hours of enjoyment I realised very quickly that there checkpoint system works when you reach a certain location on the map, or objective. You could do what I do & pause the game & pick SAVE GAME! there is like 20+ slots.
