Hands-Off Preview: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Savage Beauty | DualShockers

DualShockers' Tony Polanco writes:

"The Witcher 3 is easily one of the most anticipated games of next year. I’ve never played any of the games in the series but as a fan of dark fantasy and games that actually understand what an M rating means, I’ve always had this one in my sights. I went into this presentation expecting a lot and I was not disappointed in the least. You want “next-gen” gaming? The Witcher 3 has it, my friends."

"For such a big monster, it was taken out pretty fast though."
I've heard them say they have to make the monsters easier to kill for the demos because of time constraints.

I hope they have a donate button on their site because I'm sure lots of people will want to throw more money at them because of the great job they did with the game.

I need to stop reading about the game, it just makes the wait tougher.

Playing both of the other Witcher games, I can say that like other games monsters get easier to kill but in the Witcher understanding what their strengths/weaknesses are helps a lot. Also, stuff can kill you really fast if you don't go into a fight prepared (potions, sword oils, correct sword). Both games had a big learning curve for me.

Precisely what you said. CD Projekt RED have already stated that the enemies, human and monster alike, were rendered easy for demo purposes only.

This is almost common knowledge at this point if you have been following the game, surprised the writer did not know that.
