Google And Razer Are Teaming Up On A Game Console

Fresh out of Google’s I/O Conference comes a cautious step into the world of living-room gaming. Razer is best known for its work on high-end gaming PCs, laptops and tablets, and it just announced a micro-console, along the lines of the Amazon Fire TV under Google’s substantial aegis. The console will run Android TV, giving it a full suite of streaming capabilities, and that’s about all we know right now.

I can see the appeal. Next gen is expensive, plain and simple, heck, last year 40% of the US made under $20,000 that year. $400 for a console with mandatory online fees and games that cost $60 a pop can sting a bit.

Maybe its just me since i have a manual labor job, but if i didnt have videogames or anime, i would snap very very quickly.

Be nice if one of these new consoles was actually any good.
