Shuhei Yoshida “Totally Confident” that Uncharted 4 Will Be "a Great Game;" Talks Movie-Like Games

Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida had a few words to share about his expectations for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and about Sony’s philosophy with movie-like games in general.

This gentleman from Japan always listen to our input on Twitter and he is doing the same for PS Vita and PlayStation TV. PS4, PS3, PS Vita and PS TV will have games for hardcore, and young gamers.

My friend works for Naughty Dog as an artist and from what he tells me they only hire the best in the industry and this is a game that will set the new generation of consoles in there place.

Sony is very close to the majority of their games being movie-like already with inFAMOUS: Second Son, The Order: 1886 and now UNCHARTED 4: A Thief's End. I love this direction that they're going in.

Infamous is not a movie-like game, that why i liked infamous games more than uncharted/tlou games.
I hope Sony make more game-like games (lol?) Puppeter, R&C nexus and Sly 4 was best games last year for me, hope we get more than R&C remaster next year (BTW havent they release a footage of the remaster till now? man i wish they showed us even a little :/)

Sad that there are many haters here. What's with all the disagrees. Movie like =/= bad gameplay. It's the best way to evolve games. Mixing story with gameplay is really awesome. Don't see why would anyone hate that.

TLOU was more movie-like than Uncharted. U4 seems like it'll be heading towards the same direction as the TLOU. The TPS and platforming elements will keep it grounded tho'.

Side note, can't people just shut-up and let developers develop their games? Especially haters who attack out of pure jealousy because their platform doesn't have a certain game. I don't go around on Xbox articles and spread crap around. Instead, I get amped up about all the great experiences I'll have on my Playstation(s)

I just bought another PS3 at a discount and since I've never played the Uncharted series, I decided to give it a try for myself. I'm played through Uncharted 2 at the moment and I see why people love Uncharted. I can't believe I missed out on this series because I thought it was a "pirate" game. I also see the the new Tomb Raider game emulates Uncharted, a little too much in my opinion.
