For the sake of fun I recently started Modern Warfare trilogy again and finished it yesterday.
I really liked these games, but EVERYTHING this guy says in trailer, is 100% true and its incredibly hilarious in his interpretation.
Watching any of his clips is enough to improve mode for a day.

Using the Modern Warfare 2 box art for a satirical trailer of Modern Warfare 1 adds to the humour and irony. Calling Brazilians "Latinos" detracts from it.

Otherwise I quite enjoy this series.

The majority of the world sees Brazilians as Latinos.
EZMickey  +   171d ago
I think that is a wildly misinformed and ignorant opinion, but not one worth starting a keyboard war over.

Brazil is in the Pan American continent, and Brazilians speak with a Latin derived language, hence it is in Latin America, hence, Latinos. Many Brazilians, particularly in it's poorer regions as depicted in the game, will not be white, therefore the 'brown' reference. matt139's 'opinion' is not misinformed or ignorant. It's factual.

Haha honest or hard truth. I bet cod fanboys are raging right now.

I honestly don't understand people who say the games are always the same. It is a formula that works. It sells why change it? Also its a war game you genuinely kill people in a war game what else do you want? I think it would ruin the game if half way through you had to drop everything to watch your in game daughters dance recital.

Coincidentally our comments are similar, you posted yours as i was writing mine. Needless to say, i agree.

It is a successful formula but some changes wouldn't hurt. COD was part of the WW2 shooter genre that over-saturated the gaming scenes before it changed to modern warfare.

One danger that comes when clinging to a successful formula is that consumers don't give other titles a chance. There are other games that have new interesting features but get buried under the hype for the next COD. We can also a parallel in Hollywood where movies likes Pacific Rim and Edge of Tomorrow tried something new but barely registered with audience but the formulaic Transformers(the COD of movies) will always get the biggest money maker.

I really don't get the hate for the call of duty games. They're war games, of course they're bound to have some similarities. People buy sports games every year which is mostly roster updates so what's the difference??...out of all the call of duties the only one i didn't like all that much was Ghosts.

IM bored as hell of COD, but I don't moan that theyre all the same. They sell so well so why would they change it?
In fact Im the opposite, they changed Ghosts too much for me. Remvoing all my favourite game modes ruined it for me completely.

Bring back hardcore free for all!

Are any of you old enough to remember what happened when Coke changed lol? There is a reason it says Coca Cola Classic. People keep buying Cod, so why would they change it? That trailer was spot on in my opinion, and pretty damn funny. Even if you're a huge Cod fan, you have to see the humor in that lol.

Best COD trailer ever, why dont they make a trailer for their game like this one ? Ohh maby because they wont sell any games lol
LANCISTIG  +   171d ago
if they did halo collection may well do modern warfare collection, with all the money that has made Activision would be fair xD

Hahaha that was awesome. You should check out his youtube channel, he's got some funnier ones. CoD4 was awesome though, the last great CoD IMO. Those 48 player matches (PC) were epic balls to the wall spawn and bullets RPG's and nades flying past your head from every direction. They should bring that back. I have hope for Advance Warfare, just going to wait for reviews first.
