Platinum Games Yusuke Hashimoto, the director behind Bayonetta 2 for the Wii U has revealed that he would like to work with Nintendo again whilst developing a third entry in the franchise as well as teasing more top secret costumes set to appear in the remake of Bayonetta 1. (Bayonetta, Bayonetta 2, Wii U)

I think the hype for the game is real. People didn't really start to get behind the first one until much later in the games' lifespan. I guess most would consider that 'cult' classic-esque.

Yes it is and Platinum Games is getting more known by each day as they do more and more things hile Soulbound for Xbox One and now Legend Of Korra which some to HD Twins and their successors but not Wii U which is so weird since LOK fits perfectly for Wii U's install base/audience...

Activision just dropped the ball :P

Also Revengance helped them pick up some steam. Considering Revengance's sales were in fact some of the best Platinum has ever encountered.

There's a princess Zelda costume in there somewhere, calling it now.
Also, Bayonetta 3 for either wii u or Nintendo's next home console? YES PLEASE!
I love this franchise...

Great to see Nintendo and Platinum investing in Bayonetta. I hope they work on a new Vanquish too!

As long as it remains exclusive to one console... Wii U or PS4, don't mind which.

It would be a Nintendo console since they have received so much help and support from Nintendo. Not only that Nintendo payed for it. Having all three on Nintendo system is better than having Bayonetta 3 on PS4 because Bayonetta 2 will never be ported.

I'm just happy to see it on one console.

Was there any reason why Nintendo backed Bayonetta 2? Just wondering because it does seem out of the blue, nonetheless I can't wait to play as I've never got the 1st and now I can play both.

@dadz   Yes.

Ome of the reason was The Wonderful 101 being developed as a New IP for Nintendo.

Before E3 2012 Sega cancelled Bayonetta 2. That was May 2012. The Wonderful 101 originally known as Pdoject P-100 was shown after Nintendo press conference. Months later to September 17th. Bayonetta 2 was revealed. If being partners with Platinum Games during TW101 got them to see Bayonetta 2. They must had took that chance and brought it back to life,

Now it would had been in Microsoft hands if they partnered with them before.

U jelly? :3

It could have come to another system, but no one cared so now Nintendo has it and I'm insanely hyped. This will be worth the price of the system alone.

I honestly see it on Nintendo it belongs there.
