Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric Sings Out of Tune | gamrReview Preview

gamrReview's Brent Galietti: "I should mention that part of my discontent with my experience could come from the fact that this is a game meant to be played by the younger audiences that will be watching the Sonic Boom TV series. Imagine that, an adult who is used to a difficult Sonic game is bashing the new Sonic that he willingly admits is geared towards young children watching the TV show. The game developers at E3 admitted it is supposed to be less dificult and more of an easy action game so that young children can enjoy it along side the show. Want a difficult Sonic game then go play Lost World.

Are these new games really that bad?
A lot of the articles with negative opinions on these games are usually massive Sonic fans 'who've been fans of Sonic since 1991' (A lot of articles for this game start with that line.) or people who're donning the nostalgia goggles something awful and can't be open-minded about anything.

Can someone completely unbiased give me their thoughts on these games?

ProJared uploaded a video regarding his sincere dislike of the E3 demo he played and he never came across as a "Sonic fan."

Ah, I'm a fan of ProJared but I've yet to watch any of his E3 impression videos.
But I trust him as an unbiased person so that counts.
