Mirror's Edge 2 will have refined first person combat, which is good for people who disliked the combat of the original game.
Oh mirrors edge 2, thy greatness is coming in a splendid package.
Ah, another of your pointless posts.
I loved the first game. I'm so hyped!
I dont understand anyone loving the first game, I cant believe how boring it is, I am playing it right now because my son wanted it from the psn network, its got to be the least populated city in the history of gaming, thousands of office building with not a single person around. Its basically a run away sim but the running away is unrefined and not that well implemented. Each to their own tho , thats why I didnt give you a disagree but to me it is just bland as beige.
I loved the visuals, but I couldn't get into it either. Maybe if the first person aspect handled more like Battlefield, and then allowed for parkour in addition, then I could get down with Mirror's Edge 2 :D
I liked the game for the most part, but it always seems so ridiculous and immersion breaking that the character threw away any gun they would pick up. If I know there is a good chance I will be shot at again, I sure as hell wouldn't discard any gun I pick up.
Well it's not like the main character has tons of ammunition to reload the weapons. You're supposed to go fast and keep momentum, not blast away everyone you see.
Yay, combat, the exact reason I buy a Mirror's Edge game for.
But you do encounter enemies in the game. They're just making that as fluid as the main mechanic of gameplay. I don't understand why people are over exaggerating and making it seem like they're changing it to a first person brawler. Also, it's not a sequel. Reboot.
I know it is, and it can certainly still end up great, but that they are almost exclusively talking about combat sends a less than ideal message. Maybe I just missed the articles that talked sbout anything besides combat...
I'm going to get thumbs dwn for this but idc. This game, with its current mechanics, should be third person. After playing the first one the first person presentation didn't gel well for me. This would be a thousand times better in third person where the gameplay would be that much better and innovative.
I think it could work well in third person. And with interesting camera angles and simple mechanic tweaks, it could be more than an Assassin's Creed copy-n-paste. But I do think I like the innovation of the first person perspective in this type of game. I think it is more enjoyable. If the dev team worked on a better sense of speed and height and danger, it will be fantastic.
just give me multiplayer tag and zombie tag. all i care about
I look forward to death defying jumps and first person races and perhaps a multiplayer (not a necessity in my eyes), but most of all, an enthralling story.
Cant wait for the game but why is it still being called mirrors edge 2?
