Watch_Dogs - Highly Anticipated "TheWorse Mod 0.8" Released

Watch_Dogs fans, get ready for a treat. TheWorse, MaLDo and VAAS have combined their amazing skills and have released a new mod for Ubisoft’s open world title. This is a must have mod and highly recommend using it as it brings a lot of improvements. (PC, Watch Dogs)

Thank the gods for such talented people like the modders involved in this mod. They've made a great game even better.

Amen to the mods, i havn't been able to play WD due to massive amounts of stuttering on my high end PC.

Take note ubi, pull your finger out and get a fix for your broken game.

You must be running an AMD video card right? Because long before Maldo's stutter fix and the latest Ubisoft non-fix patch, many people didn't have problems running the game as long as you followed simple instructions on what settings to choose.

Here it is running on my PC maxed out with only an early XML modification. http://youtu.be/kGeqwBp6_-U

Here's a better one I did. I uploaded it in 4k so youtube couldn't compress it to death nearly as badly.

No, i have 2 overclocked Asus black editon 4gb GTX670's running in SLI with a dedicated GTX570 for PhysX. i7-2600@4.5ghz and 10ghz DDR3@1300.
The only way i can get the game to run at a satisfactory rate is to put everything on medium settings, i have 8gb of vram at my disposal, yet the game still runs like total crap, especially during driving on ultra settings. I didnt spend nearly £1300 on GPU's to run a game on medium settings if you know what i mean.

I will try this mod when i get home, hopefully sort out my problem.

you only have 4gb of vram at your disposal. running sli doesnt add together the vram, it only mirrors your vram, so you still only have 4. That sstill should be more than enough for anygame but you know, ubisoft

Replying here to reply to your reply to andrew.

You do realize that having 2 gpus does not mean you get twice the vram, the frame buffer is duplicated across both cards, so you in effect have only 4. regardless that should be enough. I am able to play it with a decent fps at ultra with Temporal SMAA @ 2560X1080. My gpu is a Asus R9 290X DCU II.

The problem you are having is that they game runs like shit on two gpus, and is likely only using one.

Thanks, deep down i knew that about the vram, just forgot. lol

As for using 2 cards, i have tried it with 1 and 2 cards still the same results, the stuttering only occurs during the driving sections, it is unplayable, chasing someone is impossible. I'am sure it must drop down to around 4-5 FPS at some points, the rest of the game is fine. I have reached a point where i have to chase a guy down and destroy his car, but cant progress further than that.
Like i said earlier, i didn't spend all that money to play games on low to medium settings.

Not tried The WorseMod yet, will have to wait for the weekend to do that. Hopefully, fingers crossed.

Absolutely terrible for me after official ubi patch 6gb gtx 780 and i5 at 4.4ghz game plays like a slide show. I'm glad I got it free with my card. Would be mad if I paid money for it!
