The story of Scarecrow's Nightmare has just been revealed.
"Tear through the city in the all-new batmobile and face off against a towering vision of Scarecrow and his undead army as they spread terror on the streets, available exclusively on PlayStation 4." Batman and zombies, eh? I love me some zombies and I also love me some Batman. I can't wait to get this on PS4. :D
Must get this on the PS4
Thank god I was worried that the rumor of "Exclusive PS4 Deathstroke Story DLC" were true... I would've had to buy the PS4 version over X1, (Probably buy both) and ruin my stride for achievements on the game. Hope they do a Story DLC like in City where you can play as an Anti-hero.
Why would you buy both though?
Big Batman and DC fan, and especially a massive Deathstroke fan. I play my Multiplats on Xbox, I like to do achievements on top of that, but I go where Deathstroke goes. Deathstroke was the redeeming part of Origins for me. Exclusive content sometimes pushes people to buy both platforms, and you know Arkham Knight will be a game that you want to replay more than once especially doing Riddler side quests.
Exclusive dlc is the biggest bullshit to ever hit the industry. I have no respect for it
Deal With It!
I agree. It is a shame it is going no where anytime soon.
im only mad when i dont have the Console that its Exclusive to but other then that i dont mind
Lol hey you kept it real
I agree, I think all gamers should get full access to Multiplats, it makes for a better community because nobody is missing out. On a side note, I'm really looking forward to this game, I love Batman and Gotham. And slightly off topic, I'd love a new batman theme cover for the PS4, that would own.
you're right Sony should just get the whole games exclusive like in the old days with FF, KH, MGS, GTA, and DMC. Just the DLC isn't nearly as good as that!
I agree- Microsoft started this last gen and sony have helped continue it into this gen (in fairness they couldn't not start doing it-got to match your competition if not exceed them....)
Exclusive DLC, Content first, Marketing to one console...
Business models created by MS... now being used by Sony.
No disrespect to xbox one (I want one) but I find it harder and harder each day to find a reason to buy multiplats on it this gen
I don't my friends are exclusive to the platform. I personally play games like these on PC
Are your friends timed exclusive? Lol just kidding. I understand what you mean though.
those poor souls. If only they could see the light (in the form of a black slanty box)
If it's not an integral part of the game then it won't be missed. Good for others who are interested.
Not a fan of those platform exclusive dlcs. If the game is on multiple platforms, it should be the same on all platforms content wise imo. I'll probably still get this on PC anyway though.
You say that to microsoft then when they had a full pledged game aka titanfall first dip at bf4 with dlc first then you u have evolve and assassins creed first for DLC then u have COD I think microsoft fanboys should give sony a chance once in a while
lol. I say that to Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. I don't care who does it.
I really don't understand this hate for exclusive content. With both consoles seemingly having most of their library from 3rd party studios each of these consoles makers have to give new customers incentive to choose them over the competition. Having exclusive or timed content is pretty much the only way to do this. Not to mention it is a great benefit for the user base to have added content to their console of choice. I see nothing wrong with 3rd party timed or exclusive content.
For the platform holder it's great...As a fan it's crap though. Especially when each console has its own exclusive DLC. Either way you feel left out. Just stings a bit knowing you paid the same price but got less content.
Because instead of investing money into actual games that are first party, they throw tens of millions at publishers to get some small amount of crappy content. They could make several games like Journey or Limbo for what they are paying for early content.
But these companies are investing money into actual games that are first party. I can understand if not one of these companies had any 1st party games releasing but that is not the case. And investing money into new IP's doesn't mean that they will make money or a reasonable profit. These companies are investing into known IP's, games that will sale and giving their users more content for these popular franchises.
@maniac, they are investing money into games that are third pary, for different DLC and early access. Take a look at the slate of actual PS4 exclusive first party for the rest of the year. That was the point, and the point I was replying to.
Now I remember why I paid $400 for a console!
for the awesome amount of AAA exclusives, exclusive 3rd party stuff, better resolution and/or framerate on multiplats, more indies, more f2p, more and better free games for your subscription?
Please list a single awesome AAA exclusive out, or due out this year.
Infamous is out and LBP3, Driveclub, and LoU Remastered are all due out this year. Then in February we've got The Order and Driveclub plus all the exclusive indies and the largest first party stable in the industry all at work on their games (which take time) with superior 3rd parties to fill the gaps.
Last of Us is a PS3 game, LBP3 is also a PS3 game. Please talk about PS4 games. There is Driveclub this year. That is it for the calendar year. That is a problem. Infamous sold well, but there is nothing about it lasting. It is a short experience. edit - actually, Last of Us is a PS3 game from last year.
LoU remastered is different from LoU PS3. 1080p, 60fps, better online functionality, and better controller. If you're going to count Halo MCC then you must count LoU as well. A man also notices you're narrowing the margins and the issues to try to find a flaw. PS4 version of LBP3 is the superior version. Destiny is on last gen yet many are hailing it as the "true beginning of the next gen." Games that are on both systems for a company are still selling points.
