Thought Skyrim was jaw-dropping already? You ain't seen nothing yet.
Most of these mods shouldn't even be in the Top 20. And Falskaar will irreversably corrupt your game if you attempt to install the mod with anything other than a fresh game install....something the creator failed to disclose up front. EDIT: Yes...whomever my dedicated "disagree" stalker is...go ahead and disagree with something of which you have ZERO knowledge. SMH...
Really don't think anyone would stalk you considering you seem to not have very intelligent reponses at any point.
You have a single bubble for a reason.
No Skyrim Redone, the vanilla perks are so crappy, while SkyRe perks much well thought out and balanced
SkyRe and interesting NPCs are my favourites. The latter just adds so many cool NPCs to the game in locations otherwise neglected that actually have a huge amount of dialogue. I wouldn't be surprised if the amount of NPC to Player dialogue is equal or greater than all vanilla NPCs combined, since they have so little. Not to mention the script is typically witty which makes it much more satisfying than vanilla's. Tropical mod is definitely a cool one try out if you get bored of Skyrim generally. It meant I was actually reexploring skyrim completely.
I got totally bored to Skyrim in 10 hours but I definitely should give mods a try some day (of course I already had some mandatory to fix UI etc.) According to comments these are not mods that should be used. Where could I find a better list? Edit: @EL Lanf: Sorry wasn't meant to be a reply
Forgiven my friend, few can resist my compelling posts. Honestly I wouldn't be looking for a simple list saying the very best mods. People's opinions vary and it isn't always the biggest and most ambitious mods that make the difference but lots of small ones. That said, when it comes to fundamental gameplay changes, the fewer the better really. Skyrim Redone is my preferred big overhaul as it improves vanilla greatly without straying far from the style. Some like more hardcore overhauls like Requiem, where you'll be dying every 5 seconds. I have plenty of fun looking through skyrim nexus looking for good stuff but http://www.skyrimgems.com/i... will direct you to various quality mods.
