How to become a Great & Successful Trophy Hunter

Tips & Tricks to become a great and successful trophy hunter.

The story is too old to be commented.

How do you write a guide to be two things that are so conceptual in nature?

Like, some people consider playing a bunch of kiddie games to have a high count as being a great & successful trophy hunter, where as I see it as being sad. Other people have a small trophy count, yet go after extremely difficult trophies, which 1 Snow Pirate Dominator is worth more than 100 Supreme Star trophies. Though this also depends on the person knowing how difficult SPD is in the first place, which in turn can diminish great / impressive feats due to general unawareness.

a great trophy hunter has to play kiddie games.. or else he isnt a trophy hunter..
a person who collects stamps or baseball cards has to collect all cards even garbage ones.. thats why hes a collector..

at the end of the day its the points what matter not the games..
a bronze in a uncharted is worth the same as a bronze in pixar up

"a great trophy hunter has to play kiddie games.. or else he isnt a trophy hunter.."

According to whom? For the average person with responsibilities, there are plenty of games to play without ever having to resort to playing a sports or kiddie game.

"a person who collects stamps or baseball cards has to collect all cards even garbage ones.. thats why hes a collector.."

This is simply not true. Being a collector is not synonymous with being a completionist like you seem to think. A good number (possibly most) of collectors simply focus on a smaller aspect of a larger collection and even then a good number of collectors get the items they want. Like if you were to collect BlazBlue items, you might get all the figures / games / bluray / anime / novels, but that doesn't mean you're automatically going to buy the naughty pillow cases or more adult cellphone cards.

"at the end of the day its the points what matter not the games..
a bronze in a uncharted is worth the same as a bronze in pixar up"

To you... which was my original point that these are highly conceptual terms that will vary from person to person. However, if your main focus is building score, than you're hardly much of a gamer in the first place. In fact, it doesn't really do much for your collection either. If all you do is run chase after the simplests of tasks, your collection quickly goes from a feat of skill and dedication to a testament of how much time you have on your hands and nothing more.

u missed the point
i mentioned that you need to play all games which u can get your hands on
an average person with responsibilities can play a disney game which costs 10$ only and plat it in 5~10h.. even if you have 20 kids
a great trophy hunter can have 5 plats 10 plats aslong as he follows the path..
if not then he isnt a trophy hunter he just plays the games he wants to and enjoy them..

you are acting like a person who will judge a game by every pixel and shadow implemented in a game and try to just find the bad parts..
instead of discussing this in a positive way you give me a headache in every post i do lol

i created this video to make other ppl make good use of it and learn and add more things in the comment section so i can make another video explaining more in depth things regarding some points..

the main focus of trophy hunting is building points and that makes a gamer skilled and hardcore..
i for example play every type of game available and i can complete any game available worldwide because i started out by playing those games 1by1 until i got good at them..
on the other hand ppl playing only 5 or 10 games cannot finish other games or give up in the middle

so dont tell me ppl who follow points are not skilled lol ;x thats bs

but please for future posts try to be abit positive.. help me out to make a better vid in the future instead of always trying to look at me in a negative way...
a hand in a hand in a hand will help make beter things instead of always standing against me.. its not like i did anything to u seriously!

That is not even close to what you said. Your exact words were "a great trophy hunter has to play kiddie games.. or else he isnt a trophy hunter," which literally means that you need to play kiddie games to be a trophy hunter. I merely mentioned that there are plenty of other games to play besides something like UP and you never REALLY need to play them unless you're purely doing it for the point boost. This latter remark goes back to my original point that these are conceptual terms.

I consider someone a trophy hunter if they specifically go after trophies, which judging off your replies, is different than you. This leads to the classic, when can you call yourself something argument that you see with gamers, artists, musicians and such.

"you are acting like a person who will judge a game by every pixel and shadow implemented in a game and try to just find the bad parts..

It's all perception. If you choose to look at my comments as negative, then they're such and vice versa. Ultimately I was saying that you can't really write a guide for something that is conceptual, since it's really a guide to be successful and great in the eyes of Hakoom. My second post really just reaffirms that these terms are concepts and naturally someone can be great / successful without following your advice or on different scales. So you can view it as a positive view defending people against labels or a negative view because it's against you.

"the main focus of trophy hunting is building points and that makes a gamer skilled and hardcore..

so dont tell me ppl who follow points are not skilled lol ;x thats bs "

Never said that. My point was if you go after easy games like Up, Hannah Montana, [email protected], Tearaway and such, then even if you have a lot of points, if your points mostly come from easy games, it just shows you have a lot of time on your hand versus skill like other trophies imply.

"but please for future posts try to be abit positive.. help me out to make a better vid in the future instead of always trying to look at me in a negative way...

Again, thats just how I am. You can ask anyone that knows me or look at my comment history.

They should give u rewards for trophies. Like some points u can redeem on the PS Store, depending on the game of course
