I hate Ghost but Advanced Warfare looks really good and the now 3 year development cycle will help a lot. As far as Destiny it's ok but I just can't play a shooter at 30fps. I know I may get disagrees but I just can't do it.

Im thinking about this those two games as well (just havent considered FPS), but for me its tie between destiny and new COD. I havent played one in a while but longer dev cycle and the new promise for single and MP looks like it might finally bring something new to the table. On the other hand alot of people I know in gaming groups and personal friends are getting Destiny so I might get both depending on how well COD changes things up.

I agree. Honestly I love CoD it's addicting and fun but after Ghost I lost so much interest. It seems Advanced Warfare will be so much better especially with the 3 year development cycle.

I think they need to keep the game mechanics don't fix what's not broken instead add to that formula.

I moved over to BF3 and now BF4, but I'm really wanting to play the new COD. Ghosts looked pretty boring to be honest, but this game looks like they actually tried to do something new and still keep it COD.

I'd be willing to definitely try this series out again because of this game. At least based on what I've seen.

The problem is from watching the SP demo, the story still looked linear and I notice the only time you see your legs etc was during the cut scenes and not during gameplay. Yes I know it still in development but this is COD were talking about. I bet the MP is still broken and full of QS.

So many people jumped from COD onto the Battlefield bandwagon through Battlefield 3 or 4 and never got to experience the phenomenal game that was Battlefield: Bad Company 2, those were the days.

Do we know yet how the online weapon upgrade system works on Advanced Warfare for online ? If its the same as Ghosts I wont be getting the game

Personally I'm burned out from the FPS genre. I was excited for Battlefield 4 and even upgraded to a top end gaming laptop to play it on max settings but I just couldn't get into it. Titanfall dared to shake things up a little bit and that was a lot of fun for a while. I'm crossing my fingers Destiny offers that something different and breaths new life into a stagnating genre otherwise I'll end up just playing the master chief collection for nostalgic value.

After Ghosts I'm not naive enough to let myself get excited for a new COD until I can actually play it. Some of the new additions for the new one does seem decent but I've yet to see anything which has me shouting "shut up and take my money"

Titanfall was quite a bit of fun. It just didn't have enough content.

I skipped Ghost and I'm super excited for this game. Can't wait. I need my Call of Duty fix.
