Lars Simkins and AAD Productions have announced their upcoming game, Frontiers, will miss its release date and will now be available “when it’s done."
Serena Nelson writes: "Two years ago first-person RPG Frontiers ran on Kickstarter and managed to blow past its initial funding goal of $50,000 three times over. However, development of the game has taken a lot longer than developer Lars Simkins originally estimated and in a recent update he mentioned why. Apparently, he's the only person still working on the game, but he's not down and out yet."

VRFocus - Upcoming exploration and survival title FRONTIERS has successfully passed its Steam Greenlight campaign. The first-person experience had only launched its Steam page at the end of March 2014 and has been approved for sale on Valve’s digital storefront in just a matter of days. The title, which is developed by Lars Simkins, supports virtual reality (VR) with the Oculus Rift headset.
