Did You Like How Nintendo Revealed Zelda U?

ZI writes: "I want to note right away that this discussion isn't about if you enjoyed what we saw from Zelda U. Talking about the art style, character models, and all that stuff has been overdone by us and everyone else on the internet. What I really want to know is if you enjoyed how Nintendo revealed Zelda U - the premise behind the reveal - in comparison to prior Zelda reveals."

Why yes. The game looks fun and gorgeous.

It's got a mix of all my favorite Zelda titles in this trailer so I am intrigued. The idea of a truly open world just sealed my day one pick up.

I lost it when Aonuma said that you could travel to the mountains in the background. Can't wait to see more of the game in action. :)

In terms of the reveal specifically i was a little disappointed. I liked when he snapped and it showed the amazing scene of the field, but we never got a real trailer, just a little teaser. I think if they did what they did with twilight princess and had a full on trailer it would've had twice the effect.

Lol me and my friends are calling this "The Legend of Zelda: Look at the Grass" because that's what everyone says the first time they see it xD

randomass1711638d ago

Ha! That's an excellent nickname for it. Gotta admit that that grass sure looked purdy. :P

The problem was that there was no live audience for such suspense ( TP trailer like style ). So I have to disagree there.

I think Nintendo is simply testing the current setup and make big decisions based on the feedback they get from comments/forums/blogs etc regarding this teaser.

Love what I'm seeing, but at the same time I didn't see anything. I wanted gameplay. So in that regard I do agree.

I hope they'll let us cut all of that grass....
It's teasing me so badly...

The landscape looks like a living painting, which IMO is freaking awesome and beautiful.

1nsaint1637d ago

It really does, love the art style, its like a mix of twillight and windwaker graphics.
And have u seen the trailer analysis from game explain? there's so much detail in that short trailer

Yea there are like 20 areas you can't even see unless you zoom in a lot. I can't wait to see more about this game.

I will be honest....No. I liked more the words of Aonuma, I liked Hyrule (if thats Hyrule) but I didn't like Link, enemies and his movements.

Metallox1638d ago

'Cause we really saw a lot. I'm going to be honest: put in a time machine so I can travel to E3 2015.

CouldHaveYelledUiiW1638d ago

If you get that working can I go too?

MrTimesplitters1638d ago

I agree, I didn't like link, he looks to feminine in my opinion. Maybe they can fix that by the time the game comes out. But overall yes I did love the reveal of Zelda U.

incendy351638d ago

Yes, best moment of E3 for me by a long shot!

thegent1638d ago

I would have liked to see more, just like uncharted. both were huge teases.

chrissx1638d ago

Love the reveal and love the game
