MGSV: Ground Zeroes releasing in Japan on Xbox One September 4th, as download only

The Xbox One is set to launch in Japan on September 4th, and one of the games available on the same day will be Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, the prologue to The Phantom Pain. The game has been available on other platforms since March this year. (Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Xbox One)

i gues kojima don't even want to waste his money to make xbone disc for this game in japan

I figure most people who wanted the game already bought it for one of the other three systems (mainly the PS3).

I can't wait for this game still.

Worst part is that it was announced on the e3 Microsoft press conference last year.

Your point being?

haha that s exactly what i m thinking, lame MS always presented MGS games as their exclusive or even top third party titles and always gets screwed by Kojima ..the same it happened with MGR which first announcde in MS conference but Playstation got the superior and most complete edition and it was even exclusive on Playstation in Japan

Most Japanese people have an internet connection so it shouldn't be a problem. The reason why Kojima productions isn't bothering themselves with physical copies is due to how unpopular the Xbox brand is there. This is completely normal and it sboukent worry anyone.

I would've thought that most people who were going to play Ground Zeroes in Japan, would already have picked it up.

Kojoma knows

... that he tried to palm of a demo as a full game to his adorning fans and all but the diehard fools saw through his ploy.

So therefore it would make total sense not to waste money printing discs for a 'demo' for a console that no-one but the diehard fools will buy.

I keed I keed...

Good. Those 200 people that will buy the X1 in Japan will be able to play that game if for some reason they missed on PS3, PS4 or 360.
