Seattle developer Zombie Studios say now that the title is going into full release, fans are going to see a lot of exciting changes and release of new content.
Good to hear, beta was not that good
not hype for it
Its ok,tried on the PC and now ps4 but still not for me But its free so can't complain
I tried it and thought it was rubbish.
I tried it, liked it but as none of my friends played it did not invest anymore time into it.
gr8 news,it's a fun game that I still play.It's my favorite f2p so far
its a good fps FOR A F2P game
And that's one of the main reasons some people dislike the F2P model. I always say it and always get disagrees, but will say it again: F2P = lower standard. Therefore it is a waste of resources, possibilities and vision to put a game into this model, something that could be great and will probably end up being another... "good game FOR A F2P game"... You do how you want. I won't ever support this trash selling business.
What a moronic statement, the very existance of Planetside 2 proves you wrong.
Do you know the meaning of the word "probably"? A few games doing F2P right don't dismiss the reality that almost all of them are imploded by the business model and its design impacts, and that people accept their very lower level of quality due to it being free to grind. This glorious Planetgrind of yours, how would you rate it if it was a full packaged title? Good luck in trying to compare it with top level games and please, please don't say I was discussing with someone that have never played the game.
another freakin zombie game??? boring . ooooh! ZOMBIE STUDIO
Played Blacklight in January right after I bought my ps4. It sucked. Played Zombie Studios other game, Daylight. It sucked. Looks like they're 2 for 2 right now. For me, there won't be a 3 for 3 cause i'm not buying anymore of their games.
Free-to-play is nice even if it isn't a AAA game.
I was actually really hyped for this game before PS4 came out. Immediately downloaded and started playing. I enjoy the game quite a lot but the thing that stopped me playing was the fact that you cannot permanently edit your weapon. You can only rent it for a certain period of time with earned in game currency or you can buy it outright with real money. To me that is pay to win...
I never noticed that. That's probably because I haven't invested a terrible amount of time with it. One thing about the customization I didn't like was that it felt unorganized. Oh well. Still have fun doing a little run-and-gun with it every now and then.
Nice. Hoping for more onslaught maps.
@Palitera In your first little rant you write F2P=lower standard in the sense that it is a definite sure thing. Afterwards, you backtrack and go with "probably", seems you are unsure of your own words. If you believe that PS2 is nothing more than "grinding" then you aren't playing it correctly. The game is not about personal gain and leveling up and perks etc like you may be used to. It is about the global conflict and winning very small battles in hopes of making a minor difference in the large scope of the game. The very meaning of grinding is to benefit yourself, like any RPG. This game has nothing to do with personal gain. Maybe try playing without the CoD mindset?
I don't mind the F2P model. I don't agree with the "F2P=lower standards" comment. I don't really care that much for blacklight but warframe has a suprising amount of depth that I wish some paid games had.
