PS4 Exclusive Bloodborne Gets More Story Information: “Bizarre Secrets” Teased; Famitsu Scans Inside

Today the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu was released in Japan, and it included a nice and detailed introduction on the backstory and setting of the upcoming PS4 exclusive Bloodborne, which is being developed in collaboration between From Software and Sony Japan Studio under the direction of Demon’s Souls’ creator Hidetaka Miyazaki.

I've only just started playing it's PS3 cousin. Just made up my character. The graphics look pretty dated, but as long as it plays as good as everyone says...see you all next month lol.

I wish they brought back Tendency events into the mix from Demon Souls. I loved how they affected the game depending on what type of tendency it was on. Even Holiday related events, such as during Halloween monsters were tougher but dropped better loot. Maybe areas should unlock during these events, small areas with unique challenging monsters only fought during a specific tendency.

Yeah, tendency events. I had forgotten about those. Sometimes good things get lost in the mix years later.

If they bring it back they need to properly explain how it works. The amount of things I missed out on in Demons Souls because of how cryptic the game was in explaining World Tendency is insane.

YES! Glad some people remember that mechanic of the game. It was confusing as to how it worked (outside of when they manually set it for holidays), but that was part of the charm of the game. It added so much mystery to it.

I also miss the creepy weirdness of many of the enemies and bosses in Demon's Souls...they had a feel that's just missing from the Dark Souls games...

And no level in any of the games has been creepier than the Tower of Latria.

I think the most innovative part of the game was when your in the tower I think and if you or someone else by you goes into the boss battle with the monk you're/they're summoned to fight AS the boss! Damn good times! Felt so personal because there was an actual penalty in DS for dying.
