Another World 20th Anniversary Edition Review | Laser Lemming

If you have any interest in the history of videogames, or development, you should play Another World 20thAnniversary Edition. It is in every respect the best version of a landmark title and one that every gamer should experience at least once. For old buggers like me, it’s a welcome trip down memory lane. For the younger generation it’s a chance to play the game that inspired so many of today’s modern classics and creators. (3DS, Another World - 20th Anniversary Edition, PC, PS Vita, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One) 4/5

I'm very much on the fence regarding Another World. I loved it back in the old Amiga days but I fear I'm looking at it through rose-tinted glasses. If I'm honest with myself, I seem to remember the controls being a bit clunky and the game is fairly short, has any of that been fixed?

Now... Had they re-released Flashback, that would be an entirely different matter. That game was awesome.

The controls are nice and responsive. It's not that long but it's also still bloody hard to compensate.

They re-released Flashback on ps3/xbox 360 last year. The remake came with the original included.
